Ethan was losing control due to his anger.

He glowered at Paige and shouted, "It was you! You are the one who had betrayed me first, and all I can do was just to pay you back, right?"

"Betrayed you?" Paige looked at Sophia indifferently, who was standing aside gloatingly.

Sophia admitted that she had slandered Paige yesterday. And that was why Ethan thought Paige had betrayed him.

Ethan knew Paige well. But now he chose to trust Sophia and believed that Paige had betrayed him.

At first, Paige was disheartened and did not want to quarrel with them. However, Ethan had gone too far and she had to fight back

So she looked at Ethan ruthlessly and questioned, "Did you see it personally or just hear it from others?"

"Well, I can show you evidence!" Ethan answered immediately.

"Oh, really? Then just show me!"

Ethan couldn't believe that she dared ask him for evidence. He looked at Sophia, "Sophia, show her!"

Sophia was only trying to humiliate Paige.

She had never expected that things turned out like that.

She counterfeited the evidence and tried to sow discord between Ethan and Paige. If they took it seriously and investigated deeply, they would find out it was a lie.

Thinking about this, Sophia became a little panicked, "Hmm... Everyone's looking at us, and I'm afraid it'll be bad for Paige if others find out."

"You don't have to worry about that. Just show me the evidence," Paige sneered.

"Forget about it and just show her! I'm eager to hear her explanation!" Ethan growled. He was irritated by Paige's response.

However, Sophia was still unable to take out the evidence. She said, "I've destroyed it in order to preserve her reputation."

But if Sophia really cared about Paige, how could she hook up with Ethan?

"If you are really thinking of me, how can you be so shameless and hook up with Ethan? Your only purpose is to cast in a bone between Ethan and me, isn't it?" Sophia didn't know what to say but keep silent. Paige smirked, "So what is your so-called evidence? Is there actually no evidence or the evidence you mentioned cannot be exposed to the public?"

"What's wrong with you?" Ethan was also confused.

Sophia was flurried. She bit her lip and worried that her conspiracy would be exposed at the moment.

While she was anxious, a voice suddenly sounded, "What are you doing here?"

As soon as Sophia saw Liam get out of the car, she had an evil idea, so she rushed over and said, "Dad! We came here for you and happened to meet Paige."

"Then why don't you go upstairs?" Liam frowned.

"It was because of Paige! Daddy, can you believe that she mess up with other men?" Paige did not expect that Sophia would slander her blatantly. She trembled with anger and denied, "Nonsense! How could you say so!"

"Well, you did, and Ethan also saw Paige get out of Aiden's car. She must have hooked up with him! Am I right, Ethan?" Sophia was so cunning and turned to Ethan immediately. And it was certain that Ethan would not help Paige.

Then Ethan added, "She did get out of Aiden's car. We just asked her if she was Aiden's mistress and she denied it. Mr. Anderson, I assume that what happened last night was Aiden's idea."

"How dare you! Are you trying to bring shame to our family?" Liam said furiously.

He was not willing to believe that Paige, the daughter of the Anderson family had become Aiden's mistress. They even embarrassed him in public. That was totally unacceptable!

In anger, Liam raised his hand to slap Paige. But someone stopped him when his hand was about to fall on Paige's face.

The handsome man who suddenly appeared held Liam's hand and said in a cold and unassailable tone, "It is illegal to hit others at will. Please calm down, sir!"

After being pinched hard by a stranger, Liam was so painful that he gritted his teeth. He glared at Joseph and said, "It's none of your business."

Joseph released Liam's arm and dragged Paige to him, who was completely stunned.

He was indifferent and said, "It's none of my business. But you're a celebrity, Mr. Anderson. Aren't you afraid of being in the spotlight?"

His words made Liam realize that he was too impulsive.

It was a busy place. And it would bring him into discredit if someone exposed this scandal.

Thinking of this, Liam suppressed his anger and looked at Sophia and Ethan with displeasure.

However, it was their mistakes.

Though Paige was irrational, they should not stop and questioned her in public.

He was unhappy, but he didn't say anything due to Ethan's status. He glared at Paige and said, "I'll get even with you!"

After saying this, Liam strode into the Central South Building. While Sophia felt a little guilty when she looked at Liam.

After all, there was more than twenty-year kinship between Liam and Paige. Sophia was doomed if her conspiracy was found out by Liam.

She glared at the man, who stood in her way furiously, while the man was also looking at her chillily.

Sophia shivered and grabbed Ethan's hand, "Ethan, let's go."

The charming and dignified man came out of nowhere. Ethan refused to leave and wondered about the relationship between Paige and the man.

Ethan felt extremely annoyed when he saw Paige was in the man's arm. He was not afraid of losing face, so he looked at the man indifferently and questioned, "Who are you? Don't make trouble with me!"

"Why should I tell you?" Joseph also looked at Ethan indifferently. Ethan couldn't help but shiver at the way the man looked at him.

What the hell! He was kind of a celebrity.

Why would he be afraid of the man for no reason?

The man held Paige's hand and walked away when Ethan was in a daze.

Ethan was going to explode when he saw Paige clasping the man's hand.

"How can she be so shameless?"

Sophia was upset when she saw Ethan's reaction. She thought that Ethan still had feelings for Paige.

She came up with a vicious thought and said, "How dare she to ask you for evidence? Their intimacy had proved everything!"

Ethan was furious when he heard what Sophia said. He believed that Sophia was right and Paige did cheat on him.

The strange man who appeared all of a sudden was better than him in every aspect.

Ethan couldn't help but feel inferior.

He convinced himself that the man had nothing except a handsome face. What's more, the man might even be a millionaire.

Ethan tried to make himself feel better in this way, but the next second, he saw the man driving a Maybach and coming over with Paige.

Ethan couldn't believe his eyes and felt SUCKS.
