They quickened their pace and walked to the door of the ward. The bodyguards stopped them, "Master Dawson needs rest. Madam, please go back!"

Elizabeth looked at the expressionless face of the bodyguards, "Who made you guard here?"

"Young Master Joseph!"

"Joseph? Why did he make you guys stand guard outside the ward? How is Master Dawson now?"

"Master Dawson is very well. Don't bother, madam. Please go back!"

"This is too much! What does Joseph mean to do this? We can't even see Master Dawson any more?" Elizabeth ordered the bodyguard angrily, "Call Joseph and tell him that I'm here."

"Sorry, madam. We only take orders from Young Master Joseph. You can call him yourself!" The bodyguard remained unmoved.

How come Elizabeth had Joseph's number?

The bodyguards did not take her seriously at all.

Elizabeth subconsciously glanced at Ethan.

She took a few steps away, so that Ethan might not overhear, and said in a soft voice, "Honey, what happened? Why are you so angry?"

"You don't know? You're literally with Ethan now and you don't know what's going on? Don't you tell me that Ethan haven't tell you."

Charles seldom cursed the others like that.

Elizabeth realized that something was wrong. "Honey, I really have no idea. Did Ethan do something?"

"Exactly! It's Ethan, son of b*ch. I allow him to work in my company for your sake. And that gives him

the chance to act widely and make a big trouble for me. Come back with him immediately! I'll kick his a*s if it can't be settled down!"

Charles hung up the phone finally. Elizabeth's heart sank, and she turned to look at Ethan, "Ethan, what did you do today?"

"No?" Ethan shook the head.

"Think about it carefully. Your uncle is very angry. He said that you caused him a big trouble. I've never seen him so angry for so many years, so it must not be a small matter. Think about it!"

Joseph brought Paige back to Lake View Nest, then got a message from James. "We have got that designer under control, she told everything. Someone made her do the 'being plagiarized' thing and paid her. The design draft is also from someone else."

Paige said shh to Joseph holding the phone. On the other side of the phone, Abbie had captured a man's voice. "Paige, who is it?"

"Nobody."

"I heard him. Don't tell me it's that s*it, Ethan?!"

"No, how is it possible? Where do we meet tonight? You decide where, what about usual place?"

"Okay, let's make it usual place!" Abbie hung up the phone. Paige was no more with a clouded face, and she opened the wardrobe and began to look for dresses.

Joseph walked to her, "Who was it?"

"It was Abbie. My best friend, and she has just returned from overseas. I'm going to meet her tonight. Can you please find me a dress?"

Joseph was speechless but said, "You aren't worried about the claim?"

"No, nothing matters more than my best friend. Abbie and I are like real sisters, we are very close!"

"Come on, and Sophia is your ex BFF?" Joseph just had to say that.

"She doesn't count. She and I, we don't have a complete friendship. Abbie and I are born friends, which is completely different in nature."

Joseph pulled a wry face upon her words.

Paige took out a few dresses and forced Joseph to choose one.

Joseph made a choice at random. Paige looked at it in the mirror and decides, "Okay, it's up to you."

As she changed her clothes, she told Joseph excitedly, "You know what, I'm not just going to see my

girlfriend, and she is someone who can help me, got it?"

"Abbie can help you?"

"She can't, but Aiden is her brother. Aiden makes a fuss of her. I will be fine as long as Abbie asks Aiden to help me." Paige smiled slyly.

Joseph was even more speechless.

"Actually, I can help you! I've asked James…"

"Yeah, be a good boy and don't make trouble for me tonight, okay? I will give you a surprise when I'm back!"

Paige did not leave Joseph the chance to say anything more. She stood on tiptoe and kissed Joseph, so he had to swallow the words.

Elizabeth rushed back to the company with Ethan. They walked through the door to Charles's office when a teacup was coming toward them.
