Chapter 1202

A tiny steel wire fell from James’ sleeves.

Holding the steel wire on one end, it immediately disintegrated and transformed into silver needles.

James ordered, "We still have time. By using Crucifier, my internal injuries will certainly recover in time. Thea, I need you to help me insert the needles.”

To restore his strength, James could only rely on Crucifier.

"Mhm."

Thea nodded.

With the Crucifier in hand, she began inserting the needles under James' guidance.

Thea was a third-rank martial artist. All this while, she had been cultivating hard. Now, she had reached middle-stage third rank.

As she now possessed powerful True Energy, she could insert many needles at once.

After inserting a few needles, her True Energy was completely depleted.

Under James’ guidance, she began extracting the needles.

"How do you feel, Darling? Are you feeling any better?" Thea's face was pale, and sweat beaded on her forehead. Though she was feeling weak, she could not care less about her own condition but instead looked at James, awaiting his response.

"Mhm." James said in a soft voice, "I'm feeling much better. However, your True Energy has completely depleted. You won't be able to fully recover in one or two days. You have to find someone we can trust to insert the needles. That way, I can restore my strength before the Mount Thunder Conference commences.”

"But who can we trust?" Thea was troubled. Who could she trust at such a time?

"Grandpa," James said.

He knew that his grandfather would certainly be here at Mount Thunder Sect. If they could find Thomas, he could him heal in a single session.

"Mhm... I'll look around and see if I can find him." Thea nodded.

Apart from Maxine, she had met no other person after arriving at Mount Thunder Sect. She did not know where Thomas was.

Thea turned to leave. However, as her True Energy was depleted, her body felt limp. The moment she turned, she felt her head spinning, and she almost collapsed to the ground.

James said, “We're not in too much of a hurry. Go search for Grandpa only after your True Energy has been slightly restored."

Thea sat beside James and grabbed his hand. Then, wearing an apologetic look on her face, she said, "I'm sorry, Darling. I'm really sorry.”

"It's alright now. It’s all in the past."

James smiled.

Then, he sighed. "I hope I can completely annihilate the Gu Sect and resolve the matter once and for all after the conference.”

However, James knew this was not possible.

Wearing a grim expression, he looked at Thea, "Thea, I have a feeling that something bad might happen at the conference. Stay here for two more days and leave before the conference commences. Leave this place and return to Cansington."

"Darling, I...”

James interrupted her, "I know you want to help me, but there's nothing much you can help with. I can only fight unhindered when you leave. Don’t worry, I have Grandpa protecting me in the shadows. I'll be fine."

After brief contemplation, Thea nodded and said, “Mhm.”

She did not want to create more trouble for James, so she planned to remain for two more days before leaving the Conference and returning to Cansington.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

A knock came on the door.

Since Thea had rested briefly, her strength had returned slightly. She answered the door.

Upon seeing the woman outside, her face darkened, and she asked coldly," Why are you here?”
