Chapter 1420

“James Caden…”

Just as Polaris beckoned for James to follow him, a few armored knights walked over to them and stopped James from leaving.

James turned his head.

He knew they were Koehler’s knights in a single glance.

“Is something the matter?” He asked.

A knight asked, “James, how was the situation on Mount Olympus? How’s Koehler Keyes? Is he dead or alive?”

“He’s dead.” James continued, “He was nearing his end, anyway. Even without the battle, he wouldn’t live for long. During that fierce battle, he used up all of his strength, which caused his power to dissipate. Besides, he also suffered grave injuries. He’s dead. His corpse is now lying on Mount Olympus.”

Upon hearing this, a few knights staggered backward. Their faces were pale.

James simply turned to leave.

Meanwhile, Polaris beckoned everyone to follow him. “Everyone, feel free to come along with me to the Polaris Sect. We’ll wait for James to concoct the antidote.”

“Let’s go!”

“Let’s go to the Polaris Sect together.”

Then, they left Mount Olympus.

After Lucjan and the First Blood Emperor fled, they arranged for a meeting somewhere. However, upon arriving at the agreed spot, they realized that the disciples of the Gu Sect were not there with the martial artists they abducted.

“Where are they?”

The Blood Emperor looked at Lucjan, whose face had darkened.

Wearing a solemn expression, Lucjan clenched his fists and cursed, “Damn it!”

He knew that someone had saved the martial artists. He painstakingly allied with the Blood Emperor for his plan of controlling the martial artists. However, it was for naught.

“This must be the work of James and the Sect Leader of the Celestial Sect!”

A terrifying killing intention radiated from Lucjan.

James had brought him trouble time and again.

He had to be eradicated.

Looking at Lucjan, whose expression was grim, the Blood Emperor asked, “What should we do then? Without the martial artists, we won’t be able to refine them into puppets. How are we supposed to control them and rule over the world?”

“We can only pick them off one by one.”

After brief contemplation, Lucjan said, “Blood Emperor, I’ll leave the rest to you. I want you to capture as many martial artists who can cultivate True Energy as you can in this world. Then, bring them to the

agreed-upon spot and leave everything else to me. Before long, we’ll have a terrifying army of puppets. By then, conquering the world will be a piece of cake.”

The Blood Emperor thought about it and said, “Sure. But what about the stuff you promised me?”

“Don’t worry. I’ll definitely hold up to my end of the bargain.”

After formulating a plan, the two parted ways.

At the same time, James headed to the headquarters of the Polaris Sect.

The headquarters of the Polaris Sect was located in Eyrothia and within the borders of a country called Persepolis.

Ahead of him was an unending mountain range.

Polaris pointed at the mountain range before them and said smilingly, “James, this is the headquarters of the Polaris Sect. The sect is a congregation with millions of worshippers in the outside world. However, the true Polaris Sect is an ancient martial sect.”

“Please, follow me.”

He beckoned for James to enter while explaining to him some information about the Polaris Sect.

“The Polaris Sect has many years of history. A thousand years ago, the founder of our sect headed to Stacheul in Sol and reached out to the martial community in an effort to learn martial arts. When he returned, he practiced the sword for thirty years before creating the Polaris Sword Art and founded the Polaris Sect.”

Upon hearing this, James froze.

He thought that the Polaris Sect was merely a congregation for worshippers. He never expected that it would be an ancient martial sect with such a long history.
