Thea said with consternation, “I feel like something’s amiss.”

After some thought, Callan said, “How about this? You will meet up with Jackson Cabral and the other martial artists at the Mount Thunder Sect and head out to Malgudi. I, on the other hand, will follow along secretly. That way, I can bring in reinforcements if it really is a trap. Saving the abducted martial artists is no longer important. What’s important is to preserve the lives of those who will be participating in the expedition. If they die, the ancient martial world is over.”
