“How did it go, Darling?”
The moment he appeared, Thea’s voice came.
Wearing a delighted look on his face, James said, “I got something impressive. How about you?”
Thea smiled and said, “Same here.”
“Alright.” The custodian walked over to them and looked at James and the Omniscient Deity, saying. Now that you each have obtained something, leave at once. Do not return here before the seal is undone.”
“Let’s go, Thea.”
James grabbed Thea’s arm and turned to leave.
“She cannot leave.” The custodian said while blocking his path.
Thea stopped in her tracks and looked at James, saying, “You should return, Darling. I’ll stay and purify my Demonic Energy”
“But”
James was reluctant to part ways with her. It would take years for them to reunite once more.
Thea said with a smile, “Don’t worry, it’s just going to be a few years. Once I’ve purified my Demonic Energy. I’ll return for you.”
Then, her expression turned wistful.
“Poor Winnie Remember to return to Cansington and spend some time with her
James took a deep breath. It appeared that he would not be able to take Thea away. So, he nodded and said, “Be careful, alright? Don’t worry, I’ll take good care of Winnie.”
Saying that, he looked at the custodian and said, “I’ll leave Thea to you.”
The custodian nodded slightly.
Then, James did not linger for long and turned to leave alongside the Omniscient Deity.
Soon, they arrived at the shoreline by the ravine. Looking at the river before them, the Omniscient Deity asked, “What did you get?”
James said smilingly. “An impressive secret Supernatural art that is more profound and advanced than any other I’ve encountered in the past.”
“Cultivate well.”
After giving a brief remark, the Omniscient Deity turned to leave.
Meanwhile, James continued staring at the ravine. He never thought he would part ways with Thea just like that. The custodian had told him that purifying one’s Demonic Energy would require at least a couple of years. Now that they had parted ways, James could not help but wonder when they would meet again. Thus, he did not leave immediately. Rather, he sat in a lotus position on the ground and meditated, transmitting information about the secret Supernatural art into his mind.
The secret art was called the Novenary Golden Body Siddhi. It was a cultivation method used to cultivate one’s physical body to release the Supernatural powers of one’s physical capabilities. By
cultivating one’s body to the Grand Sage Realm, one could defend against any weapon with his body alone.
However, the Novenary Golden Body Siddhi was difficult to cultivate. Its earlier stages were particularly excruciating.
Regardless, once the physical capabilities had increased, one would be unbeatable amongst his peers in similar stages and could even surpass those at a higher rank. This meant that a ninth-rank martial artist could potentially defeat someone at the Supernatural stage.
Under normal circumstances, it was simply unthinkable. After all, the disparity in strength between the two was gigantic. However, by cultivating the Novenary Golden Body Siddhi, one would be able to recompensate for one’s lack of strength by possessing an indestructible body.
James took a deep breath.
“The Novenary Golden Body Siddhi… What a magical cultivation method. Fortunately, my physical body is much stronger than the average Joe. Otherwise, I’d have to spend years in preparation”
Then, he stood up and looked at the ravine before him. Immediately, Thea’s image came to mind.
“Don’t you worry, Thea, I won’t let you down. Once we meet again, I’ll be a changed man.”
James was confident in his own abilities.
