When Jules finished, he turned and left the courtyard.
When he turned around, James suddenly sensed Curse Power on Jules.
“Wait,” James called out and stopped Jules.
Jules turned around. “What’s wrong?”
James stared at Jules.
He sensed Curse Power coming from Jules. Although it was for only a short moment, he was sure it was Curse Power. However, traces of the Curse Power had disappeared.
“N-No, it’s nothing. I must’ve been mistaken.”
James waved his hand and said, “It’s fine. Go on.”
“Alright.” Jules nodded, and left.
After Jules left, James entered the Celestial Abode.
Emperor Jabari was still in seclusion. Meanwhile, Nico was also in the Celestial Abode and was cultivating within the Time Chamber.
Nico was a Fourth Heaven Grand Emperor trying to refine the Aquacollis to further enhance his bloodline. It would take a considerable amount of time for him to reach the Grand Emperor Rank’s Fifth Heaven.
Nova greeted James respectfully, “Master.”
James asked, “Nova, are there any Path Stones in the Celestial Abode?”
Nova said, “Yes, we have a good amount of them. Come with me.”
James left the City Lord’s Mansion with Nova and headed behind the city. There were many independent courtyards.
Nova brought James to one of the courtyards.
When Nova opened the courtyard gate, James saw many magical objects floating inside.
There were some unique crystals in various kinds of shapes.
All of them had one thing in common. They had a mystical aura and contained Path Energy.
Nova explained, “Emperor Jabari collected these Path Stones while traversing the universe. Sophie had always wanted these Path Stones, but she was not qualified to enter this place.”
“Every Path Stone here is priceless.”
Nova thought for a moment before saying, “Obtaining Path Stones is akin to gambling.
“Every Path Stone potentially contains either a complete Path or fragments of a Path and no one can tell what lies within. Even Grand Emperors are unable to discern Path Stones.”
“Path Stones have to be cut open by a special tool. Only then will you have access to the contents within.”
After listening to Nova’s explanation, James gained a better understanding of what Path Stones were.
He looked at the various Path Stones floating in the air and asked, “Am I allowed to use them all?”
Nova said, “Of course. Emperor Jabari’s highest strength was when he was at the peak of the Grand Emperor Rank’s Ninth Heaven. He was so close to becoming an Ancestral God. Thus, he’s already proficient in all Paths. Path Stones are of no use to him.”
With Nova’s words, James was relieved.
“Alright. Then, I’ll head out first.”
James did not stay in the Celestial Abode for too long. He left and reappeared in the outside world.
There were three more days till the Oscar family’s auction. James was not in a rush, so he leisurely spent his time at the Elixir Mansion.

Jadranka puppeteered Jules, making him wander around the mountains. She was trying to understand the structure of the protective formation around the Elixir Pavilion. When the Sanctuary of Darkness’ strikes, her job was to destroy the protective formation.
