Herschel smiled faintly.

James, however, did not share the same concerns.
His physical body was immune to Demonic Energy.
James walked ahead of the three and effortlessly crossed the mountains.
After passing through many mountains, a plain appeared in sight.
The grass in the area was a variety that James had never seen before. Not only were they a strange black color, but they also grew to a height of about twenty centimeters high and had a faint, dark glow.
A huge stone tablet stood not far ahead and it had some mysterious and ancient inscriptions engraved on it.
James walked over to the stone tablet and inspected the engravings.
His three companions also began to examine the inscriptions.
Hadrian turned to Mia and asked. “Princess Mia, you have a lot more experience than us. Do you recognize these words?”
Mia shook her head in response.
She indeed knew many ancient scripts but could not identify the script that was engraved on the stone tablet.
James had been studying Karma Script recently. It was one of the most mysterious scripts in the universe. It surpassed even the Elysian characters and the Ancestral Script.
Through his studies of the Karma Script, it enabled James to recognize virtually any script he encountered.
James parted his lips and said, “It says that the area ahead is a restricted area, and living beings shouldn’t proceed beyond this point.”
“A restricted area? Why is that so?” asked Herbert.
James continued to read the engravings and said, “There’s some more information recorded on the stone tablet. It’s about the Holy Master of Nothingness.”
The trio immediately showed great interest upon hearing James.
Mia said excitedly, “Please cut to the chase, Mr. Caden.”
James replied, “It’s about the events that happened while the Holy Master of Nothingness ruled this universe. He reigned in a prosperous era. However, his wicked thoughts left his body and manifested as a living being. As a result, the universe ushered in a dark age.”
“This era was called the Age of Destruction.
“During the Age of Destruction, the Holy Master of Nothingness escaped. The Dark Lotus Demonic Ancestral Master rose up and imprisoned the Holy Master of Nothingness in the deepest parts of the Palace of Nothingness. Then, he took over Mount Heavenly Path and inherited the Master of
Nothingness’ position. He ruthlessly massacred those that refused to submit to him. Therefore, the age he ruled was named the Age of Destruction.”
