Thea returned to her closed-door meditation sanctuary. This was an underground basement. As she sat in a lotus position on the ground, the figure that had always been on her mind since she was young resurfaced. She was puzzled about the constant appearance of the figure. Just who exactly was he? Why would he appear in her mind? This figure was extremely similar to James’. Though she suspected James, James was simply too young.
Meanwhile, she had lived for several Epochs. James was not yet born when she was born. So, this figure could not possibly be James.
She had her reasons for arranging for James to remain in the Callahans. There were two objectives, in essence. One, James possessed immense potential. If he remained in the Callahans, the family would gain an additional powerful figure. Two, she wanted to get to the bottom of the figure that constantly appeared in her dreams. She wanted to wait for the figure to turn around and face her so that she could discern his appearance. If it truly were James, that would mean she had an intimate relationship with him and that James’ strength would reach a terrifying level in the future. Even if he came from a different age, James could still use Karma to affect her. If James truly was the figure, she could not care less even if he married Sienna. Worse comes to worst, she would not mind polygamy.
Taking a deep breath, she forcibly calmed herself down.

Thea spoke to break the awkward silence.
“The time has come, James. You should depart. Sienna will be waiting for you at Mount Heavenly Path.”
James sighed and said, “Thea, I have told you many times that I love you. How can I possibly marry Sienna?”
Thea said coldly, “And I’ve told you that I don’t have any feelings towards you. Whether or not I will fall for you in the future will depend on you.”

“We’ll talk about this in the future, James. Even if you don’t like me now, I will make you fall for me when we are married.”
Sienna was a prodigy as well. No matter her looks or potential, she was not beneath Thea. So she was confused about why James would fall for Thea.
“Think twice, Sienna. This concerns your chastity for the rest of your life.” James warned her.
Sienna nodded and said with a serious look on her face, “I have thought this through. Let’s proceed based on what we agreed upon. I will first head to Mount Heavenly Path and wait for you there. I believe you will overcome all obstacles and reach your destination in five hundred years.”
Then, Sienna’s body flashed, and she disappeared without a trace.
Only James and Thea remained. Now that they were alone, James had so many things to talk about with her. However, since they were all concerning the future, Thea would not be able to hear him anyway.
