The village consisted of only a few families but was abundant with common poultries and had some crop fields nearby.

A plainly dressed man stood in the field, hoeing the ground. Despite being a peerless powerhouse, James worked hard to plow the land.

“Honey, it’s time to eat,” a sweet voice called out to him from inside the village.

James put down his gardening tools and leisurely walked back to the village.

Thea had prepared some simple meals for them. Although it was nothing fancy, James ate with relish.

James put down his spoon and asked, “It’s almost the day for our wedding ceremony. What are your plans after? Do you want to keep living here?”

“Yeah. What else can we do?” Thea turned the question to him.

“I…” James hesitated.

Thea said smilingly, “I know you’re unwilling to live like this forever and still have many things you want to accomplish. You want to find your son and see Yemima. Most importantly, the Mega Sky Burial is going to happen very soon. You mentioned the Sky Burial will occur when the numbers of Caelum Acmeans reach a certain number, right?

I have a feeling that our peaceful days are about to end very soon.”

As a Caelum Acmean and James’ wife, Thea was far more informed than Maxine. She knew about the Mega Sky Burial and James’ experiences in the Path of Heavenly Awakening.

Thea took out the sigil James had given her before and returned it to him. Then, she said, “You passed this to me last time. I’m handing it back to you. I’m curious to know what’s recorded inside the sigil, but I suppressed my urge to open it.”

James put away the sigil and said smilingly, “I’m sure the Mega Sky Burial won’t happen anytime soon. We still have a long time to enjoy our leisurely days. We’ll think of a solution when a problem arises.”

“Dad.” A man called out from outside the village and ran over to them.

Thea reprimanded him, “What are you doing here, Jacopo?

You’re supposed to be in the Heavenly Court.”

“Are you two eating? I haven’t enjoyed such a heartwarming meal in so long!”

Jacopo sat down, picked up a spoon, and gobbled the food. Although the food did not contain Spiritual Energy, he still enjoyed the meal.

While chewing the food, Jacopo said, “By the way, someone came to see you, Dad,”

Surprised, James asked, “Someone came to see me? Who?”

“I don’t know. He didn’t look really old but had a powerful cultivation base. I wasn’t even able to sense his cultivation rank. He suddenly appeared in the Heavenly Court’s hall requesting to see you.”

He stood up and said, “Thea, I’ll go take a look.”

“I’ll be leaving too, Mom!” Jacopo put down his spoon and left the village with James.

After they left, Thea stood up and cleaned the dishes.
