James inquired, “Do you know the details about him?”
Waleria shook her head and said, “I don’t know the entire story. I’ve never seen Yardos before. I only know he lives in seclusion on Mount Blithe in the Welkin District. It seems he had made a bet with the Welkin District’s Leader before
their past battle. He probably agreed never to leave Mount Blithe if he lost. To leave, he must defeat the Welkin

“Why did they make a bet?” asked James.
“How would I know?”

Yardos did not keep the Omniscience Path to himself and generously taught it to other humans. He also allowed different races to cultivate it, but they would have a harder time than humans.
James asked hesitantly, “What kind of Secret Art is it?”
Waleria said smilingly, “It’s called the Nine Essence. It’s a Forbidden Art of the Theos Sect. Only a few core members are allowed to cultivate it. You’d benefit greatly from it.”
“I don’t want it. I want the Acmean Herbs instead.”
James did not trust Waleria.
