Maxine said with a smile, "Grandpa asked me to come.He found out that Madelyn was coming after you with many people and was worried something might happen to you.He sent me to check on you and to pass you some stuff."
Saying that, she took out the bundle she was carrying and handed it to James.
James took it doubtfully and asked, "What’s this, and who’s Madelyn?"
Maxine explained, "Madelyn is Mr.Gabriel’s disciple.She’s incredibly strong.Since Mr.Gabriel’s puppet, the Emperor, is dead, he sent Madelyn to replace him and take charge of Centennial Corporation.She’s

"What?" Blake's eyes lit up at the mention of the manuals.He exclaimed as he looked at the white bundle in James’ hand excitedly.

He was not interested in the martial art manuals right now.
What he was more concerned about was Madelyn.
"You said that Madelyn was leading people to Mount White after me?"

Maxine nodded.
