Chapter 2428

They turned their heads.

A gorgeous woman walked toward them from afar. Though she approached from a distance, she appeared before the crowd in the blink of an eye.

The woman was approximately 180 centimeters tall and was wearing a red dress. She had long black hair, delicate features, and fair skin as white as snow. With a smile, she introduced herself, “Hello, my name is Nyasia Ximena. I come from Jodón.”

Hearing this, Jace, Lucifer, and the man in a blue robe all took a few steps back.

James asked puzzledly, “What’s Jodon?”

“It’s a mysterious and terrifying place. There’s no need for you to know all this at the moment, Now, you only need to know that Jodon is comparable to the Demon Race in strength.”

“Oh.”

James looked at the woman called Nyasia puzzledly.

Meanwhile, Nyasia smiled, “I wanted to come to Earth a long time ago. At long last, I’m finally here. Pleased to make your acquaintances.”

James smiled and said, “Hi, Nyasia, my name is James Caden.”

Marcello kept glancing over at him but he feigned ignorance. James walked over to Nyasia and tried to shake her hand.

Nyasia froze. Confused by James‘ actions, she looked at him in confusion. “What?”

“…” Awkwardly, James retracted his hand and scratched his head, saying, “N–Nothing…”

“Is this the Five–Elements Painting?” Nyasia stared at the painting in mid–air and murmured.

Although James knew that Elemental Inversion was located here, he had no idea what the Five– Elements Painting was. So, he asked, “Ms. Nyasia, what is the Five–Elements Painting?”

Nyasia explained, “I don’t know much about it either, but I heard that it’s an artifact left behind by the Five Ancestral Gods in the Primeval Age. It has been passed down through countless generations and has been present since the Ancient Heavenly Court Age and the Primordial Age until now.

“The Five–Elements Painting has always existed in the legends as no one has ever seen it with their own eyes. Legend has it that the Five–Elements Painting is related to the Five Elements of Genesis. I never thought I’d be able to witness it with my own eyes today.”

Marcello and Jace looked at her.

As expected of a living being from Jodon, she was much more knowledgeable. Though they came from the Demon Realm, they had never heard of such a thing before.

James was shocked too.

Sophie was the daughter of a war god from the Ancient Heavenly Court. That was why she had heard of the Five Ancestral Gods. He was surprised to learn that Nyasia knew about this as well.

Since she knew everything, James cut to the chase and asked, “Is Elemental Inversion concealed inside the Five–Elements Painting?”

Nyasia glanced at him and said, “How would I know? But I guess so.”

Saying that, she looked at the man in a blue robe and smiled, “You must be Willibald Jamarcus.”

The man looked at her. His expression was composed, and he seemed to not be taken aback that Nyasia hailed from Jodon.

“Mhm.” He nodded slightly.

Nyasia said, “Did your master not tell you how to decipher the Five–Elements Painting?”

After brief contemplation, he said, “Yes, he did.”

Nyasia said, “In that case, why don’t you spill the beans? It’s not like you’ll obtain Elemental Inversion just because you know how to decipher the puzzle. You need luck and fortune on your side as well.”
