Chapter 193: Being Stared At
The two boys were attracted to the girls because of their beauty and their status as students at the academy.
“What’s so great about her? She’s probably just some over thirty year old woman. It’s not that unusual to be that strong at that age," said one jealous girl.
“I don’t see it. She looks like she’s ten,” replied the first girl weakly.
“Stupid, haven’t you heard of disguise items? There are so many of them here. I don’t believe a kid can take on so many humanoids alone.”
Ah jealousy, you can’t underestimate it.
“Stan, what do you say? She's using an item right?”
Stan was put on the spot. There were a lot of disguise items available, but looking at the little girl in front of him, he wasn’t sure she was using one. Disguise items were easy to see through, but he couldn’t see anything strange about her.
After thinking it over Stan settled with, “It’s not easy to tell, especially if she’s using a high-level item.”
“Wait this girl seems familiar,” spoke out one of the girls.
“What?! Where have you seen her?” Plum frowned. She believed the girl they were watching definitely had on a disguise item. Could the girl be a student from Xingguang? She was even more jealous now! If the girl was a student then her appearance was probably real.
Plum had been a pampered genius in her family, but upon entering Xingguang academy she realized there were geniuses and then there were geniuses. People like her became ordinary. Only those truly exceptional retained their title.
Somewhere along the way Plum grew to resent anyone better than her, especially girls. Plum would go out of her way to bring them down.
Plum and her girls used their talents to bully and ruin many girl geniuses. Few knew that the group was behind it.
“Don’t tell me she’s from our school.” Marcy voiced the same doubt Plum had.
The boys were quiet but they were curious about the girl’s identity as well. Powerful girls weren’t uncommon in the virtual world, but very few were so young.

The boys were impressed.
“Whatever.” Plum smirked. She winked. “She’s very well-known amongst the freshmen, but not in a good way. She looks young, but she’s already got a kid.”
“What's more, she's still messing around with other guys. Do you know, she confessed to the fifth-grade rep in public. So shameless.”
