But she remained silent, unsure how to explain once she got home.

“Bella, I can’t believe I made it to the top three,” Molly said softly, her voice heavy with excitement. “I’m

already content, whether I win first place or not.”

After all, the top three already had the qualification to participate in the international competition.

If she participated in the international competition, she would have the opportunity to meet Queen

Abby.

Who knew if Queen Abby would serve as a judge for the international competition?

“If you’re gonna do it, go for gold,” Arabella said, looking ahead, her expression calm, her voice soft.

“The world only remembers the champion; nobody gives a damn about who came second or third.”

Hearing this, it kinda made sense to Molly.

This reignited her determination to fight for the championship.

“Before I announce the third competition, let’s welcome our models for the day, Britanny, Bonnie, and

Jolin, with a round of applause,” the host said.

Everyone was surprised to hear that there were models today.

The three girls slowly walked onto the stage, leaving everyone stunned.

Were they disabled people?

“Britanny was trapped under the rubble for three days and three nights in last year’s earthquake. She

didn’t just lose her left leg; she lost her family too.”

“Bonnie was severely burned in a fire, leaving visible scars, making walking difficult.”

“Jolin lost half of Ker left hand due to overwork in machinery operation.”

“They all had to bear immense pain at such a young age. The task for this competition is for you

designers to design outfits that suit them best, that can bring out their beauty.”

Britanny was assigned to Molly and Arabella’s team.

Seeing Britanny’s prosthetic leg, Molly felt a pang in her heart. Did it hurt to walk like that?

“Stop staring,” Arabella reminded her calmly.

Regardless of whether it’s out of kindness, curiosity, pity, or sympathy, the gaze from outsiders can be

very troubling for the disabled.

“You’re a designer now. You should design the most suitable outfit for her. That’s your job.”

Taking Arabella’s words to heart, Molly focused her attention again. She used the materials provided by

the organizers to design cool sportswear for Britanny. She didn’t ask for Arabella’s opinion but decided

to expose Britanny’s prosthetic leg.

This was exactly what Arabella had hoped for.

In contrast, designers number 21 and 29 chose to cover the scars and disabilities of their models,

trying to make them look like normal people.

Forty minutes later, the three models walked the runway wearing custom–made outfits.

Hans picked up the microphone and asked Molly about her design concept, Why did you decide to

expose her prosthetic leg?”

Molly took the microphone and said seriously, “I want to tell Britanny and all those like her not to worry

about making us uncomfortable with your prosthetics. I think it’s your unique mark, and you should

show it off confidently. You deserve to be admired and liked.”

At these words, Britanny’s eyes welled up with tears.

“No one has the right to judge you, to criticize your shortcomings. You are the ones who determine your

own worth. Although people often associate a healthy body with sports, in reality, sports is more about

a spirit of resilience. Even if you’ve lost a leg, it can’t stop you from loving sports. You can still run on

the field and show what you’re made of.”

Britanny nodded, unable to hold back her tears.
