for me.”

Joanna choked, “Sigh. If I didn’t love you, I wouldn’t have compromised again and again. I wouldn’t have forgiven you again and again and risked my life to save you.”

“Don’t change the subject. I want to hear your serious answer.” Bruce commanded.

Joanna blinked her heavy eyelids and stammered, “….I…love you..”

“I can’t hear you,” Bruce said.
