The Return of the Crazy Demon

Chapter 209: Don’t Want To Fall For Heart Demon.

Chapter 209: Don’t Want To Fall For Heart Demon.

I look at the Demonic Sect people who surrounded the guesthouse with the Four Great Evils. At first glance, it wasn’t known how many people had arrived. These people began to unravel a huge red cloth and rolled it out as they put up pillars to block the outside of the guesthouse.

“What is that?”

Sword Demon answers,

“This means the Red King’s troops have arrived.”

It is just a title.

There are only four who have the title of king in the Demon Cult. The Four Heavenly Kings.

All of a sudden, the troops of the Red King cease movement.

It is an insignificant sight, but I am curious because I’ve never seen such a huge tent. It is quite far from the guesthouse, but it is still big enough to make the northeast side look like the land had been painted red with a large brush.

Only after the tent was made did they begin to put up his flags. However, shortly after a white tent also can be seen in the distance.

There is one in red and another in white. The white tent, which was just put up, stops on the west side.

Because of the appearance of the King, it seems obvious as to who the white tent would belong to. I ask while looking at the third young lord.

“Is that the White Heavenly King?”

“Right.”

“Are there times when all four Kings of the Sect make an appearance?”

The third young lord answers,

“There has never been an instance. I don’t know if they came to fight or control the troops but there’s never been a time when the Four Heavenly Kings came out at once. If it’s regarding controlling something, then there is a chance.”

I can’t help but tilt my head.

“Too much. Isn’t that too much?”

If these four people were directly after the Right and Left Elders, it wouldn’t be unusual for them to aim for the higher seat which is open now. Still, I think about how this is a bit much.

Because we are just 6 people.

From the corner of my eye, I see a blue tent rise in the West and end in the South and a black tent rise in the South and finish in the East.

The North, South, East and West of the guesthouse was surrounded by red, white, blue, and black with distinguishing flags that were raised up high. Red King, Heavenly King, Land King, and Dark King.

Just looking at the flags, you could tell they were people of the Demonic Cult.

A union of colors.

It was like a connection of Hell and Heaven, land, and humans.

In the first place, I expect that this fight won’t be an easy one. It’s because the possibility of Sword Demon being attacked by the former elders of the Demonic Cult and the news after his walk out is an unknown factor for all.

The Light Sword needs to be recovered by Demonic Cult. The news surrounding Sword Demon isn’t currently known to them.

Pervert Demon wasted his time on alcohol and women and was forced to become a person to be reckoned with.

These are the events I can understand. Even so, for all four of them to come here, it feels like a bit too much.

“Senior, it seems that the task of retrieving the sword is a huge task. Did you think it would turn into this?”

Sword Demon answers,

“I didn’t expect it to be like this.”

“Hmm.”

I scratch my head for a moment and look at Sword Demon. How was he in his previous life? I can’t possibly ask that. My thoughts are interrupted when I hear the noise of more troops arriving.

It’s surprise after surprise.

Pervert Demon asks his master who is flustered,

“There are many troops. Master, it might be disadvantageous to meet in one place. How about breaking through by fighting one side? It is a bit questionable if they will surround us.”

Sword Demon answers,

“At that level, the damage to the surrounding areas will be too great. And we also said we wouldn’t involve the people in the village. So, we cannot head out.”

Ghost Demon says,

“I never thought that so many would come to take away one sword.”

As the four of us watch, Sword Demon shakes his head.

“They came to kill me. The sword is just an excuse. And to kill me, these number of troops need to be here.”

“Did you expect all four of them to come?”

“Even if not them, I was expecting many elders to come.”

If the elders of the Demon Cult are considered as well, then surely there are many demons. At this rate, if Im So-baek were to get involved in this situation, then this would be close to a mini war.

Because the actions that need to be taken are too big, I get up from my place and walk around with my hands on my hips and look at the Demonic Cult soldiers on the side, and speak to Chil Geom.

“Chil Geom.”

“Yes, Sect Leader.”

“Why are there so many?”

Chil Geom nods.

“I didn’t expect this either.”

“When will your master come?”

“I don’t know.”

At this, a man from the Demonic Cult approaches with something like a cult paper in hand and says,

“I have something to convey. May I proceed?”

Sword Demon nods.

“Come.”

The messenger arrives in front of the guesthouse and says to Sword Demon,

“The news that the former elder is detaining the third young lord has been delivered to the Cult Leader. Is that true?”

Sword Demon responds.

“No.”

And the messenger turns to the third young lord and says,

“Then it is fortunate. Young lord, please come back. A wagon has been prepared.”

To which the third young lord answers,

“I haven’t been held captive, but I have no intention of heading back.”

The messenger says,

“I was told that if you stay close to them and turn hostile to the Cult, even you will be removed sooner or later.”

“Whose words were that?”

“Red Human King.”

“Tell him then. Even if I hold the position of a lord and my brothers try to kill me and I get accused of being a traitor, I will not move.”

“I understand.”

Sword Demon asks the messenger,

“And this cult paper is for?”

The messenger opens it up and reads it.

“I speak the words. Former Left Guardian return the sword to the Cult. If you return it without a fight, I will let you live for another 5 years and then ask you to pay for your crimes then. If the former Left Guardian returns to the Cult with the sword and asks to be pardoned, then the elders and the four kings will join in to do so and you will not be sentenced to death because of your past deeds. In addition, to those who are acting in compliance with the former Left Guardian, if you try to escape the siege right now, the survivors of the Mong family, Low-Down Sect, and Six Harmonies, you will be considered as hostile forces. The three of you should hope and help the former Left Guardian will not act hostile towards the Cult.”

After relaying the message, the messenger closes the paper.

“So strange.”

Sword Demon asks the messenger,

“Did many elders come?”

“Yes. If one manages to escape from here, the troops that have come this far are planning to head for the Mong family. Except for the former Left Guardian, the rest can step back and ask the elders here to forgive their sins.”

To which I say,

“You have done your job properly.”

The messenger turns to me and says,

“Yes, Low-Down Sect Leader.”

“Tell them I apologize to the people in the surrounding areas.”

“I cannot convey such words.”

“I confirm.”

The messenger looks around and says,

“I will give you time now. Please give me permission and I will temporarily retreat.”

I wave to him.

“Go then.”

“Yes.”

After the messenger goes back I look at the Evils around me.

“Things escalated. So, if we run, they will attack our forces?”

Ghost Demon says,

“I hold no power. I guess this is what they mean. They want to kill everyone around.”

Sword Demon says in a bitter tone,

“A power that should be solved by those with skills. If one puts pressure on me in a way I hate, I complete my task till the bitter end.”

I ask as I look around the areas around the tents.

“What is the possibility of the Cult Leader arriving?”

The third young lord shakes his head.

“There are too many troops here. Such numbers were sent in to pressure us right off the bat.”

Everyone looks at Sword Demon who speaks with a sneer.

“Even if he comes here, he cannot kill me. It is more questionable what the thought behind this siege was.”

This might sound weird, but I have to ask because I am curious.

“Are the troops not of help to the senior?”

Sword Demon nods.

“Right.”

I thought hard while looking at the troops of the Demonic Cult. Looking at his calm expression, I feel worried.

“A siege war?”

Pervert Demon says,

“What kind of siege war is this?”

“They said they would attack the Low-Down Sect or the Mong family if we escape, so we are stuck. Because we are trapped, we are isolated in this place with a limited food supply. The siege ends when all the troops of theirs are killed or our food runs out. No. Well the atmosphere surely seems that way. It is like placing the siege there for us to die. If Sword Demon senior or I go insane then, the elders will have to work together.”

Pervert Demon nods his head.

“Then everyone will end up dead.”

I ask Ghost Demon.

“What about you?”

To which he answers,

“Then we have no choice but to kill all of them.”

I speak to the third young lord,

“You have no place to return. And you are being asked to fight.”

“Not going back.”

I finally confirm the will of Sword Demon.

“Senior, do you think you will have to kill everyone for this to end?”

Sword Demon nods his head.

“If there are no regrets, then let’s do it.”

At this time, a messenger’s voice rings out.

“Time has passed. Former Left Guardian, decision.”

When we don’t answer, there is a sudden sound of something snapping, a black rain of arrows shoots into the air from outside the tent.

I look at the sky in shock.

“No… arrows.”

As soon as I pull out my wooden sword. I try to do something, but there are too many arrows now. Everyone has no choice but to stand still and only hit the arrows coming towards their own body. Hundreds of arrows pierce around the guest house and when I listen closely, bow strings being pulled can be heard.

“Let’s head in first.”

We go into the guesthouse and look out the window. In an instant, the sounds of bow strings being pulled can be heard and we see flaming arrows shooting towards us.

“Haha.”

I burst into a chuckle at this absurd situation.

“Wow, now its flame arrows.”

I look around the last sight of the guesthouse. It would soon burn and disappear. Of course, the guest house I stayed in would burn. The arrows begin to pierce into the ceiling with a loud sound and the flames begin to burn.

After cursing, I go outside the guesthouse. The flaming arrows and the roof of the guesthouse were up in flames.

This absurd situation began to make me feel dizzy.

We look at the guesthouse, which is currently going up in flames, and look around. All that can be seen is the tent of red, white, blue and black standing tall. At this time, an unfamiliar voice rings out.

“Left Guardian, it is just a matter of giving up the sword, so shouldn’t you just give it up?”

A deep clear voice.

Sword Demon answers,

“Elder Byuk, it has been so long. What do you mean by nothing? Come out and compete.”

This time an old man’s voice comes from the west side.

“Sword Demon, you are so detestable for pretending to be calm in this situation.”

It wasn’t just an old man’s voice. A young voice comes from the southern tent.

“Sword Demon, the invincible… I admired you when you were in Cult. But I only respected you because you were with the Cult. No matter how good you are, have you not gotten stronger because of your affiliation and help of the Cult? Left Guardian. Return to the Cult.”

Here and there, the demons were spewing their threats, pleading, and speaking to Sword Demon and the arrows stopped.

It feels as if we are being mocked. As soon as the Demonic Cult warriors finish speaking, I applaud loudly.

“Haha, the Demonic Cult is so temperamental. This is the Demonic Cult.”

I barely speak a couple words, but Sword Demon says to Pervert Demon.

“Third one. Handle it. He seems to be losing it.”

“Yes.”

I take a couple steps towards the Demonic Cult troops and am caught and restrained by Pervert Demon. Ghost Demon rushes in and wraps one arm around my neck, rendering me speechless.

“Let me go a little.”

Ghost Demon raises his voice.

“Sect Leader, stay still now. Do not fight alone. The eldest hyung has a plan. Stay calm. Keep calm. Hold your mind now. We will have to fight for a long time anyway.”

I raise my hands in surrender.

“Okay. I confirm.”

While I was restrained we moved towards the collapsing guesthouse. Sword Demon looks at me.

“I will head out first.”

The eldest said he would head out first, so I have to make a confession. I am curious about how he will fight.

However, the sword isn’t visible on him, Sword Demon walks alone to a spacious area.

I ask while looking at the Pervert Demon,

“Where is the sword?”

Pervert Demon chuckles.

“Get yourself together. It is a Demon Sword.”

“Is that so?”

Sword Demon says as he walks towards the Demonic Cult troops,

“Elders come out. If you want the position, you will have to eventually beat me.”

Someone from beyond the tent approaches.

“Ah, right.”

From behind the red tent, a gray-haired old man jumps up and down. When I recall the voices, it was the one called elder Byuk.

Elder Byuk asks as he approaches Sword Demon,

“Where is the sword?”

Sword Demon looks at the man without another word. For an instant, we turn our gazes towards the guest house and rush into the ruins.

Swish!

The sword which had been buried in the rubble soars into the air on its own and rushes to Sword Demon. It is an absurd sight that makes me smile as if this situation is fun. And Pervert Demon sighs.

“Heart Sword.”

I nod my head as what he said sinks in.

Then, what was the extent of sword Demon’s growth till now?

It is like saying that falling into the Demonic Heart state was not such a happy thing. It is because of the wooden sword that he had been using to train.
