Samantha was lost for words when she saw how friendly Magnus was being. She shot a glance at the chancellor and thought that he was rather strange.
But before she could say anything, Magnus extended his hand toward his office. “Please come in. You must be Mr. Adrian’s wife, right?”

“You must be tired from all that driving, so why don’t you eat something and get some rest first? By the way, could you please call Mother and tell her that Ada’s okay?” Adrian said
Samantha did not comment any further and did as she was asked. Yet, she felt anxious.
Soon, two delicious–looking lunch boxes were delivered to Magnus‘ office, to which Adrian immediately began to dig in.
