Chapter 721: Chu Feng the Godhead

Primal chaos qi pervaded through the pile of rocks. There was an old hall here as well as a vast rocky mountain and a majestic three-legged demon cauldron!

“Ah...”

The three people shouted, each holding onto one of the furnace’s legs. They felt the blood within their bodies boil as it surged out of their bodies. The blood transformed into red beams and merged together with the huge cauldron.

Yellow Ox, Ouyang Feng, and the black yak shuddered. Their bodies were weakening, and they had almost withered away as their blood essence and spiritual power were being extracted.

“This demon cauldron is simply demanding our lives. This Ouyang King will stake everything against you!” The toad shrieked as one of his hands was sucked in by the cauldron’s legs. He couldn’t struggle free, so he simply stood on his head to kick the big cauldron which was emitting a drizzle of radiance

Dang!

The noise was ear-splitting, but at that moment, Ouyang Feng’s face was contorted. The golden stripes on his face were nearly crushed together as he felt a piercing pain.

His leg was about to fracture and pouring with blood. His toes seemed to have broke after he kicked the demon cauldron.

“Bang!”

At this moment, Yellow Ox opened his mouth to spurt out a while brilliance. This was a mouthful of Immemorial Essence. It hit the cauldron, but it came bouncing back. It was unshakable.

Meanwhile, the efflux of the three people’s spiritual power was becoming more and more serious. One could see how quickly their bodies were drying up.

“The words on the stone tablets are misleading. Dammit, it’s going to kill us!” big black yak shouted.

Then the two horns on his head fell off and transformed into two moon-shaped scimitars. They flew out to help Yellow Ox and Ouyang Feng. He wanted to blast off the cauldron’s legs to help them get away.

Dong, dong, dong!

Sparks flew out everywhere and the old yak’s thick horn almost shattered as it struck the cauldron’s legs. It didn’t move at all, but the scimitar itself was nearly ruined.

Pop!

Big black yak had numerous wounds and lacerations on his body, causing blood to spurt out and dying the cauldron red. He yelled, “Since there’s going to be a bloody sacrifice, I’ll give it to you. Let go of them!”

Meanwhile, he threw the medicine from the Innocuous Godhead he had into the cauldron with trembling hands before shouting, “There, I’ll give it to you.”

Hum!

The great cauldron stirred and in that instant, even its legs were shaking, thus suddenly jolting the toad and Yellow Ox. They did all they could to struggle free, and to their surprise, they indeed managed to escape.

Then they caught sight of big black yak withering away at an alarming rate. He was directly dried out and was all skin and bones. He was not much different to those living-dead entities inside Mount Eternal.

“Old Black!”

Yellow Ox roared. His voice was soft but also heart-wrenching. Big black yak had lost his origin and was near death.

“Old yak, hang in there!” Ouyang Feng shouted, too. At the same time, he used his own unique scroll. Mythological beasts emerged one by one and bowed down in front of him. His scroll stretched across the sky and covered the earth as it approached the big cauldron.

Yellow Ox also broke out with gold symbols all over his body. It was like he was bathed in a divine radiance and he bellowed. While the unique scroll was being produced, he too held his head up high as he crashed into the big cauldron.

Big black yak bellowed and said, “No, you guys should withdraw. This strange medicinal cauldron requires the blood essence of three different types of people with its three legs. Now there’s enough, so I’ll just keep providing it with some more. Don’t pull yourselves into here!”

Bang, bang, bang!

There was a great explosion as various symbols surged out with flares of energy. In the end, Yellow Ox and Ouyang Feng were thrown out. They all took heavy injuries as their attacks were ineffective.

Above all, they saw the Innocuous Divine Physique’s blood, which big black yak had thrown into it, fall out from the mouth of the cauldron.

Yellow Ox quickly picked it up and said anxiously, “Zhou Shang doesn’t belong to the Demon race so his blood isn’t useful. Old ox, you should finish it!”

He poured it directly into big black yak’s mouth. He was so withered that he was beyond recognition, and he was almost dead—at the moment, his eyes were bleak and seemed as if he would lose life at any moment.

But after holding the red divine medicine in his mouth, his vitality recovered once again. This was due to the purified supreme medicine restoring his life.

Once again, big black yak survived through it, but the cauldron’s leg was still frantically absorbing his life. Soon after, he was again emaciated into a bag of skin and bones.

Furthermore, his shiny black coat had dulled and fell off in big bits. He was now bald all over and looked ruined and old.

“This isn’t good. We’ve been had by those from the past. We’ve been cheated by Mount Eternal’s legends!” Ouyang Feng’s eyes were cracking with rage.

Big black yak was in a tragic situation, and it was about to be over for him. A sense of failure filled them. They had charged in undaunted by the perils, but this was their end?

Yellow Ox firmly cut out a wound. He rushed toward big black yak and poured the blood on top of the cauldron’s leg. Moreover, he tried to replace big black yak.

Big black yak was extremely weak and tried to push him away. He said, “Don’t, Yellow Ox, go away! I’ve been very vexed lately. Those from the outer realms are always coming for trouble, yet I can’t do anything about it. This time, we have to succeed or die trying. Don’t do anything foolish. You are a wonderful seedling and can go fight on behalf of our cow family. Go kill and eliminate those bastards!”

“Old black, don’t be dumb. You can’t die when we still haven’t reached the end of the line yet. You have to survive for me!” Yellow Ox shouted.

“Old black, if you dare die, I’ll marry that so-called yak fairy of yours. I guarantee I won’t keep her for you!” Ouyang Feng shrieked as well.

“You toad bastard... how dare you annoy me. I... pfff!” Big black yak spat out a final mouthful of blood. His neck was crooked as he lay there, seemingly lifeless. His eyes were completely gray without any luster.

“Dammit. How could you die, old yak? Live for me or I’ll whip you to death with my big mouth!” Ouyang Feng exerted all his strength to drag the old yak backward. At the same time, he slapped his big mouth to try and wake him up.

“Dang... damn you, you really slapped me?” big black yak said. Surprisingly, he was still alive.

Yellow Ox and Ouyang Feng were pleasantly surprised. They quickly dragged him backward, but his body was stuck on top of the big cauldron. They simply couldn’t tow him away.

Feeble, big black yak said, “This method of a bloody sacrifice works... but I can’t go on... This is just a momentary recovery of consciousness just before death... Toad, when you see the yak fairy, tell her don’t forget about my sacrifice.”

Then, his neck bent and this time, he was utterly dead.

Ouyang Feng was restless and swayed his body vigorously. He yelled, “Old black, you’re taking advantage of me even when at death’s door. Live for me. If you don’t, I’ll burn your corpse and dig up your future grave so that you can’t have a peaceful death!”

“Old black, wake up!” roared Yellow Ox as well. He exerted all of his strength to push the withered body, which was basically a skeleton. All of his spiritual qi had all but vanished.

Unfortunately, the Innocuous Godhead’s blood had now been used up after they had poured it into big black yak’s mouth.

Jiang Ning, Mount Zhijin.

Here in the small world in the core of the Earth, Chu Feng’s body had almost burst apart and was covered with wounds. Once he had sprinkled the pollen on top of the gold chain outside of the coffin, he quickly fell back.

Despite this, the terrifying undulations and the energy of the supreme expert rousing almost blasted him away yet again. His body and soul were nearly destroyed.

He was being protected by Overlord Chu as well. One could imagine how aberrant Yaoyao’s grandfather was and how frightening he was. It would be an unbordered calamity if his emotions were indeed obliterated and he only knew how to slaughter!

“Right, I’ll adjust things using my breathing technique so that you’ll fall into a deep sleep right away. You’ll recover in half a day’s time, and at that time, the gold chain will be broken. I’ll charge directly into the starry skies, but you only have a short period of time!”

This incomparably grandiose voice transmitted from within the old coffin and shook the small world. His every word was pounding on everyone’s hearts like a huge mountain.

With just a moment of fighting time, could the Dark Blade Imperial Court be brought down?

What would he think if he was truly annihilated but finally understood by those dark hunters at the last moment? He supposed the Sky-Piercer would be speechless after the brief fight.

Now, he withdrew as he was amazed to find that after being injured by the jolting, his body was producing light blue radiant blood.

“Huh!?” He was shocked. What was this? What was happening?

He couldn’t add it up. During his last tribulation, his body had been so damaged that it was deformed, but his blood was still red. How did it turn blue after just a couple days of work?

He pondered over it carefully. After the tribulation, a fierce transformation had occurred on his body, so perhaps his blood had changed color from then on.

“Blue divine blood, that’s the same color as this planet...” Overlord Chu said without thinking.

“I don’t want no divine blood. I just want the normal red blood!” Chu Feng said. He had somehow transformed into a godhead, but instead of happy, this made him slightly worried.

“There are ways to solve this, Overlord said, but then he tilted his head and thought for a while. He said, “I’ve forgotten them.”

This made Chu Feng rather relieved. He still didn’t understand what was up with the blue divine blood, but if there were ways to solve it, then it should be fine if he attacked or retreated.

“Divine blood, I actually have divine blood. How did this happen?” he muttered to himself. Some cultivators had achieved this by consuming great medicines.

Perhaps the divine medicines he collected at the home of myriad gods had not only recovered his youth in the end but also caused changes in his blood?

All types of divine blood and dao physiques possessed extraordinary behaviors, so Chu Feng was quite looking forward to whether or not he could generate any formidable abilities.

However, he preferred his blue divine blood turning back red after he obtained such abilities.

This was because he had once heard Yaoyao’s state that the so-called supreme physique was indeed out of the ordinary, but its red blood was not bad and was perhaps even better.

Outside the Earth in outer space.

Inside that super holy weapon in the Dark Blade Imperial Court, the dark saint spoke coldly, “Is the fish here yet? Hurry up and bite the bait already.”

The delegators sat high and mighty, exuding their holy prestige as they waited for the results. The net was thrown, and they hoped it would catch all of those big fishes so that the so-called declining planet couldn’t prosper again. They wanted to strangle everything and kill them while they were still budding to destroy the natives’ opportunity of recovery.

“Hehe, these natives have already degenerated to their most inferior states. Now, they’re no different to wild beasts, so they shouldn’t try to rise again. Single-handedly ruling the heavens does indeed exist. I’ll make you understand that if I can wipe you out back then, I can easily cut off your evolution paths!”

“Ah, a bunch of inferior barbarians similar to beasts. We’ll catch a couple of big fishes today first, then we’ll solve this planet’s issue while we’re at it. From now on, this will be our medicine garden, our livestock pen!”

Those within the battlefield in the imperial city were indifferent. They conversed without any emotions as if they were talking about insignificant trivial matters.

Eastern Sea, in the depths of Mount Eternal.

In the blink of an eye, half of the day had already passed.

Big black yak’s body was ice-cold and was almost stiff. Yellow Ox and Ouyang Feng were howling while sacrificing their blood. The two held onto the big cauldron. They themselves were all skin and bones as they suffered great losses of spiritual power.

But they knew that they were nearly there. They were on the verge of mastering this demonic cauldron and becoming the owners of Mount Eternal.

“Old yak, I’m so heartbroken over you. You’re still a virgin yak and died without meeting your dao companion. How shameful!” Ouyang Feng wailed.

“Don’t hit the face when you beat someone... and don’t expose one’s faults when you scold them. Ouyang toad... I’ll be damned with you!” Big black yak’s feeble voice came from within the cauldron as he cursed him.

“Ah?” Yellow Ox and Ouyang Feng were stunned. Then their hearts trembled as they felt incomparably surprised.

“Old yak, your corpse is outside. Did you spirit escape into the cauldron?” asked Yellow Ox.

“I’m getting cooked. Hurry up, you guys, we’ve almost succeeded. We’ll kill those foreign Jun-tuo lambs!” big black yak shouted. At the same time, he said, “Ouyang, I want to beat you up too!”
