The Strongest Conquest System

Chapter 204: He Is Back...?

Chapter 204: He Is Back...?

All of these monsters may be of a higher quality than the ones that B-Rank or A-Rank Adventurer's would usually hunt down. But that didn't change the fact that the pure quantity of monsters he has surpasses anything she had ever seen!

Nonetheless, in spite of such bafflement, she was taken out of her stupor by the voice of the man performing such absurdities: "This is around a hundredth of what I have. I assume you have enough storage rings to account for everything I possess, right?"

"..."

'He wasn't kidding about that?!?'

However, she couldn't lose her composure now!

"Ye-Yes. We have enough storage rings to hold all of your monster materials"

Following such a response was a small hand movement by her, as she seemed to be waving at a few people.

**Step Step**

A few dozen more Adventurer Association workers entered the monster materials facility, as they had in their hands thousands of storage rings that they had to dig into the Adventurer Association storage to find!

They moved over to the monster materials in the form of a hill before they activated their storage rings and sucked in all the monster materials in less than a few seconds.

"Alright, here comes more. I will continue unloading until I am all out."

"Very well, just unload in that area over there, so as to not crush my associates," she responded to his proclamation with an awkward expression.

It looked like this would take quite a while, and she didn't even know if they had enough storage rings to account for everything!

...

Half an hour passed by in the blink of an eye

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Yet another mountain of monster materials fell to the surface floor of the monster materials facility as Azmond finally unloaded his last load!

It took quite a while, but he was now completely emptied out

"Is that all, Mr. Azmond?" The receptionist asked with an exasperated look on her face.

This man just kept on unloading! He didn't stop unloading for such a long time, leaving her to deal with the consequences of such actions!

All of the storage rings she requested from the Adventurer Association had already been filled to the brim by him!

"I think I am done here. Should we proceed to the next step?"

Azmond's deep voice made its way into the receptionist's ears as she turned her tired face up.

"The next step??" She questioned.

She seemed to be in denial of reality, for she, along with the rest of the Adventurer Association workers, knew what the 'next step' was. They just didn't want to look at such a dark future

"Yes, the counting and analysis of all the materials I brought in. And also the subsequent compensation given to me for all the materials. Did you already forget?"

**Spurt!**

His response came in the form of a sharp dagger jabbed straight into her already fragile heart!

She hadn't even found herself a man in this lifetime, and yet this Adventurer was running through her heart like he wanted to take it for himself!

Shouldn't he at least ask for her name first?

'Wait no! Snap out of it, Kaida! There are tough days ahead; I need to stay focused!'

She resolved herself before looking directly into his deep blue gaze, which practically penetrated her very soul, even through his mask.

"I will do it!"

"... Okay?" He replied with a puzzled expression.

"I will do it; don't you worry! It shall be done!"

"... Okay That is nice."

'What is this woman getting at? Isn't that what she was supposed to do anyway?'

He was more than a little taken aback by the eccentric behavior of this female receptionist.

.....

She built up her courage before walking out of the monster materials facility with dozens of Adventurer Association workers trailing behind her.

However, before she made it out the door, she grabbed the door frame and looked back at Azmond with a fearless gaze! Her determined voice quickly followed such a 'valiant' declaration: "I will do it! I will do it!"

She repeated it like a broken record.

'Is something wrong with this woman's head??'

"Uhmm, yeah, you go do it," he responded with an 'encouraging' tone.

"I will do it! And also, the Branch Master is calling for you from the top floor of the main building, so you might want to head up there while I am doing it!"

Her words faded off into the distance as she exited the monster material facility before heading toward a separate building. A building where her true hell would begin!

"What an odd woman"

He had never seen a worker as weird as her. He wondered if everyone in the Adventurer's Association was an eccentric person like her.

Pinch!

"Oww! W-What was that for??"

He feigned pain as he turned his gaze down, only to see the aggrieved and slightly dangerous look on Crystalline's pretty face.

"Don't think about other women."

Her words came out in a frosty tone as her gaze became even more lethal.

"But I wasn-" He attempted to get out his excuse.

"Don't think about other women." She repeated.

"Ye-Yes"

He was helpless in this matter. What was he to do with this 'cute' green-eyed mess?

******

In an undisclosed location at the very top of the Adventurer's Association Main Building, a man in an antiquated rocking chair and a woman with her long blonde hair in a ponytail were seen conversing.

"Elara?"

"Yes, BranchMaster?"

"He is back...?" He asked.

"Yes, he is back"

A heavy sigh nearly escaped her red lips when she thought about that greenhorn Adventurer againan audacious Adventurer who seemed to be taking his time getting up to them

The BranchMasters' aged voice followed such a tired look forming on her face.

"Why isn't he here then?"

"Well" She thought over how she should respond; however, nothing came to mind!

What was she supposed to say?!? That mysterious fox-masked man seemed to do whatever he felt like doing!
