After the police took the troublemakers away, Song Chabai finally let out a sigh of relief. She relaxed and plopped back down in her chair, “Finally, they’re gone.”

When Yu Gangan saw how exhausted her friend was, she immediately told her to go home and get some rest.

Song Chabai saw how messy the clinic was, so she wanted to stay back and help Yu Gangan tidy up.

But, when she saw Fang Zhihan standing next to Yu Gangan, she agreed to Yu Gangan’s suggestion with a cheeky smile.

Before she left, she even winked at her friend ambiguously.

After Song Chabai left, Fang Zhihan also told Yu Gangan to leave.

Yu Gangan looked at the man curiously, “Leave? Where to?”

Fang Zhihan looked at Yu Gangan with a deep gaze hidden beneath his eyelashes, “The Civil Affairs Office. Didn’t you want a divorce?”

His calm voice was cold and indifferent.

Yu Gangan: “...”

Yes, that was a decision she made earlier, but after what happened with Yang Tianyou, she didn’t want to get a divorce anymore.

Fang Zhihan’s presence was the strongest weapon against his uncle and Yang Tianyou.

If she sent him away and they were no longer related, how would she deal with her uncle and Yang Tianyou if they tried to cause trouble again?

But, she couldn’t get herself to say that she didn’t want a divorce anymore.

Yu Gangan followed Fang Zhihan out of the clinic and into his Jeep.

The car was quite big, but it smelled entirely of the man’s scent. Yu Gangan wasn’t sure if it was because she was plotting something, or because there was too much testosterone in the car that caused her to feel a little nervous.

She quickly ran her eyes across Fang Zhihan, trying to think of a way to tell him not to get a divorce.

As the car started moving, Fang Zhihan drove with seriousness. It seemed, he was really planning to divorce her.

Yu Gangan stole consecutive looks at the man and realized his expression did not change. So, she couldn’t tell what he was thinking.

She originally thought he would oppose the divorce in some way.

If he didn’t have a plan up his sleeves, why did he refuse to leave her home?

But, it didn’t appear as though he cared at all. It seemed, he was serious about the divorce.

The car pulled up at a crossroad and the traffic light turned red. Fang Zhihan slowly stopped the car, his gaze still focused in front of him. His lips opened slightly and he asked, “What are you looking at?”

The voice that suddenly resounded through the car was thick and charming; it was mesmerizing like a glass of red wine.

In surprise, Yu Gangan quickly glanced out the window.

She did not reply and Fang Zhihan did not continue to ask.

The couple remained silent until the car stopped outside the Civil Affairs Office.

Fang Zhihan turned off the engine and looked at the unmoving Yu Gangan, “Get out, we’ve arrived at the Civil Affairs Office.”

Yu Gangan looked around awkwardly and placed her gaze on Fang Zhihan with hesitation.

Fang Zhihan continued to look at her calmly. His long slender hands rested on the steering well as it tapped gently.

This gentle beat made the atmosphere extra nerve-wracking.

Yu Gangan felt her heart beating at a fast and unsteady pace.

With a loud, “Oops!”, she suddenly said in a panic, “I remembered something important all of a sudden. We only have your copy of the marriage certificate, we don’t have my one. I need to go look for it! Without it, we can’t get a divorce!”

Fang Zhihan’s lips curved upwards slightly, “Then, how long will it take you to find it? Where should I live while you’re looking for it?”

Yu Gangan looked deep into the man’s eyes.

Had he already seen through her? Was that why he was asking this?

What a black-bellied man...

Tricky man...

Calculative man...

Yu Gangan smiled and looked at Fang Zhihan, “My place, of course.”
