No matter how many times they curse, it would still be useless. They had to admit that they did not know how to do the questions.

Due to their lack of knowledge, Harunaka and the others felt dizzy and drowsy as all kinds of negative buffs came to them after they saw the test papers.

Once they saw the test papers, they felt that their lives were full of darkness. Their hands that were grasping pens were shaking slightly. They could understand the words from the questions, but once all of them were combined together and formed into a sentence, they blanked out.

Kazuki sat on the chair as he observed the Furuhashi sisters.

As the eldest sister, Furuhashi Harunaka was trying her best to put on a relieved expression, but apparently, the questions were fair, their knowledge was also reasonable. As to the contents of the test papers, she had no idea how to do it. She could not put on a natural, confident smile. Furuhashi Harunaka would rub her stomach sometimes while holding the pen.

Kazuki suddenly realized that Furuhashi Harunaka had not taken any meal yet as she started the test right after she went home and took a shower. She was probably hungry. Maybe he would postpone the time for the home tutor class next time since this would not affect him. The time between 6-8pm and 6.30-8.30pm would not make much difference for him.

What surprised him was Furuhashi Natsui. The girl was writing with her pen with a serious expression. She seemed like she knew the questions. However, when he took a look at the test papers, he was about to scold her. He said without emotion, “Natsui-san, please do not doodle on the test papers. Please take the assessment test seriously... I repeat myself again, the mark of this test will help me in determining the suitable method for me to tutor for you four.”

“Oh... Oh...” Staring at her halfway done Peppa Pig, Furuhashi Natsui was startled when she heard Kazuki’s voice. She then grasped her pen and pretended to take the test seriously.

Kazuki gave out an internal sigh and took a look at both Furuhashi Fuyuno and Furuhashi Akino.

Furuhashi Fuyuno was doing the tests seriously, unlike Natsui, who was just pretending to be serious. However, whenever there was a question that she did not understand, Furuhashi Fuyuno would take out some snacks from her drawer and eat it. Since she did not understand the majority of the questions, she was anxious and ended up binging on snacks.

However, she was anxious because she really wanted to focus on solving the questions. The anxiety was like coming out from her naturally, and it influenced her. Also, since she was eating quietly, she did not affect the others. Thus, Kazuki did not stop her reluctantly.

As for Furuhashi Akino, she did not attempt those questions at all. There was a dull absence of light in both of her eyes as she stared blankly ahead, she has zoned out obviously. At times, she would come up with a mysterious smile, nobody had any idea about what she was thinking about.

If there were a piece of chalk right now, he would definitely throw it at her.

“Akino-san?”

Kazuki called her twice, but Furuhashi Akino did not give any response. Finally, she ‘woke up’ when Furuhashi Fuyuno, who was sitting by her side, pushed her after she heard the voice.

“What is it? I almost completed the level!” after Furuhashi Akino has ‘awakened,’ she looked at Fuyuno with a dissatisfied face. Soon after, she sensed Kazuki’s sharp eyes, and both of them looked at each other. She then mumbled with her head down, her eyes once again blanked out when she looked at the test papers.

This girl is seriously thinking about games right now... Kazuki thought for a while, totally speechless.

This is... great.

Fortunately, Furuhashi Akino did not zone out anymore. Kazuki was not the only person staring at her, she was also being glared at by her sisters.

We’re having a test, and you actually zoned out?

“Uh... Kimura-senpai, can you please stop staring at us...” Furuhashi Harunaka raised her hand. Apparently, she was not used to someone staring at her when she was having tests. This would make her very nervous and cause her not to focus on solving the questions.

The other three also nodded their heads.

“Alright,” Kazuki said in a slow tone. Then, he closed his eyes and began the practice of refreshing his spirit and mentality.

The Furuhashi sisters let out a sigh of relief when they saw it.

Half an hour later...

“Is Kimura-senpai asleep?”

“... He looks like he’s asleep. He must be exhausted.”

“Senpai is actually quite good-looking when he’s asleep.”

“Hmph... He has his wooden sword near his knees even when he is sleeping, he is clearly showing off! I have an idea, why not we draw a pig head on senpai’s face?”

“Akino, you’re too savage, beware that senpai will beat you up. We will not help you, then.”

“Do you guys want to eat something?”

“Give me some, I have not eaten anything since I got home, I’m starving...”

“Guys, what do you think about my Peppa Pig drawing?”

“Have you completed your test?”

“No... I have no idea how to do it.”

“This is so hard!”

As they were talking, the Furuhashi sisters felt that something was wrong. They looked ahead and found out that Kazuki was staring at them. His eyes were emotionless, and his voice turned cold, “Since your tests are not completed, why are you guys chit-chatting?!”

They were startled by Kazuki’s cold tone. Especially Furuhashi Akino, she could feel the way that Kazuki stared at her was not friendly at all. She finally realized why Kazuki was known as the biggest delinquent of Sakura Kyu. His stare was like a knife cutting on someone’s body, causing a tingling pain.

The living room was once again quiet, even the sound of a needle dropping to the ground could be heard. The four of them remained silent. They then grasped the pens and acted as if they were thinking about something.

However, Kazuki knew that the four of them did not understand most of the questions. This time, Kazuki stared at them. There was pressure now. They couldn’t whisper to each other during the test.

Two hours later...

“It’s time to pass up your papers,” When Kazuki spoke with a calm voice, the Furuhashi sisters visibly relaxed. Their eyes brightened up, and they seemed like they were high spirited.

“Ah! Two hours has finally passed.”

“I’m so hungry, can I have my meal now, senpai?”

“Since the tutor class has ended, I am going to continue my games.”

“Sit down, don’t go anywhere till I finish marking all the papers,” Kazuki said without any emotion. He realized that a moderate attitude would not work on them as they would demand more. The four of them would become fearful only when he straightened up his face.

As expected, even though everyone was groaning after he spoke, they did not leave. They just sat on the sofa, staring at Kazuki.

A person would typically feel stressed when being watched by quadruplets. However, Kazuki passively spoke while he was marking the papers, “These papers are basically left blank. Why did you guys take two hours to complete it? Are you guys doing this intentionally?”

Actually, in Kazuki’s opinion, although there were a lot of questions, the Furuhashi sisters could complete them in half an hour. Yet, the four of them ended up spending two hours to complete it, and the tests were left with so many blanks.

“No... That’s because I spent lots of time thinking about the questions that I did not know, that’s why it took me so long.”

“That’s right... In fact, there are so many questions, yet we are given only two hours to complete it. I think that the time given was not enough... Senpai, why don’t you stop marking it so we can continue the same tests on Wednesday.”

“This is a good idea.”

“Agreed!”

Kazuki did not give a definite answer nor any response. He realized that he made a rookie mistake. The four of them looked lovable, but they had experience on how to deal with a home tutor, they were adamant!

He should have set the time as half an hour instead of two hours. He did not expect that the four of them would drag the two hours of tutor time today. There was no doubt that they did it intentionally.

Although the Furuhashi sisters spent two hours to complete the test, he only spent five minutes to mark all the questions as most of the questions were all left blank. As he looked at the test papers in his hand, he had a single question in his mind...

“Why are all the multiple-choice questions blank?”

“Because we didn’t know how to do it.”

“You have to fill it up even if you didn’t know how to do it. Just choose one out of four, there is still a probability of one fourth that you might get the correct answer.”

“It’s useless even if we guessed it right, we still wouldn’t know how to solve the questions. What is the use of it even if we did it correctly, but it was because of guessing? We admit what we do not know, we won’t act like we understand it.”

Regarding Furuhashi Harunaka’s answer, the other three agreed and nodded their heads.

If this was the case, why were all of you acting to be serious during the test? Kazuki had nothing else to say. However, he now knew the reason why their results were so poor.

It turned out that they did not complete any of the multiple-choice questions... But of course, even if they completed them, their marks would not be high too. He found himself agreeing with what Furuhashi Harunaka said.

It is wise to know what you know and admit what you do not know. It seemed like the four of them were not useless after all.

However, even if they did not know how to solve the multiple-choice questions, they were still required to fill it up. Academic marks are prioritized in high school.
