A few hours ago, when Sheyan ordered the team to disperse.

Dardanian immediately hypothesised that Sheyan might use them as cannon fodder.

This was what his intuition told him – though his intuition may not necessarily be right.

Dardanian immediately started planning. He knew that his name would not be high on the list of the Arbitrator’s target, so the Arbitrator would definitely not come to him first.

“Since that’s the case…I should have enough time to do some things!” Dardanian immediately came up with an idea in his mind. He screamed at Cyborg No. 3 who followed after him, “Hey, you should know where the rest of the Wasps are buried, right?”

Cyborg No. 3 nodded. “I do. After No. 1 obtained the highest level of clearance, he shared a lot of information with us.”

Dardanian immediately summoned an Ent as his mount to speed up the journey and ordered the cyborg through gnashed teeth, “Let’s move at once! We should be able to collect at least three of the buried Wasps!”

Cyborg No. 3 did not raise any objection, only nodding and silently leading the way forward. The group of two went around the mushroom rock and excavated one Wasp after another for about 20 minutes. During this time, Dardanian was incomparably anxious, but in the end, the thing he worried about did not happen.

The Arbitrator did not come after him, and nor did Sheyan.

In his estimation, these two were equally terrible and equally unsurmountable!

After another fifteen minutes, Cyborg Man-3 finished programming all the Wasps to allow for unmanned flight… Of course, after taking off, they could only fly in a fixed direction.

By now, Dardanian had six Wasp aircrafts, and theoretically speaking, the probability of him being shot down was only one fifth. This probability was certainly low enough.

In a critical moment, one would take the risk even if there was only one percent chance of surviving, let alone 80 percent.

So Dardanian gritted his teeth and climbed into his Wasp. For some reason, even though he was a man who had experienced many storms and waves, he kept having an uneasy feeling at the moment.

But when the pre-set time arrived, the rest of the Wasps started to ignite, spewing out hot flames and slowly ascending into the sky. Dardanian understood very well that if he did not leave now, the probability of being shot down would become 100%! So, he could only steel his resolve and press the start button… The fuel in the engine began to mix, and the engine made a powerful roar. The relatively light Wasp spacecraft accelerated resolutely towards the outer space of planet Uplos….

A few hours ago, when Sheyan ordered the team to be disbanded.

Aldarius walked away slowly with his cyborg, Cyborg No. 2. Compared with Dardanian who was in a rush, Aldaris seemed much calmer. With every step, his eyebrows were furrowed a notch deeper, as if there was something weighing on his mind.

“That bastard did not look like someone who had given up! Why did he suddenly say that?”

“Does he have a way of dealing with that stupid ape? That’s impossible! We couldn’t even kill him with our collective effort. There’s not way Seaman is strong enough to take him down!”

“Self explosion? Is that it? Did he ask us to leave because he doesn’t want the explosion to hurt the team by mistake? No way, he’s not that selfless! If that bastard really thinks that he’s going to die, he’ll definitely drag a few of us to die with him!”

“Oh right, that idiot is an MT. No MT’s innate ability would be self-explosion! Then what on earth is he thinking, disbanding the team at such a time?”

“Argh, whatever. Let him die if he wants to! That damn ape shouldn’t be coming after me first, so… Hmph, as if I’ll believe that multiple Wasps flying away at the same time would reduce the chance of being shot down. Those fools are actually using the Earth’s technological level to gauge the Predators’ action, measuring their wheat with our bushel! So laughable! They’re simply courting death! On this issue, my opinion coincides with Seaman’s – only the Predators’ technology can go up against the Predators’ technology!”

Aldaris’ eyes brightened when he thought of this. He threw a bolt of electricity and nonchalantly electrocuted a gigantic black crow that tried to dive down to peck at his eyes. He then turned to Cyborg No. 2 and said, “Hey, come down. You don’t have to work on that piece of junk anymore. Seaman said before that his cyborg can fly the Predator spaceship. Can you do that too?”

Cyborg No. 2 nodded. “No. 1 seems to have very high level of clearance now, and he’s quite far along in his progress of hacking the Predator’s mask, so he had already obtained the basic piloting method and transmitted it to me. But it’s a pity, sir, I don’t have the ability to repair the Predator spaceship. Even for No. 1, it’ll take at least three years to push the research to this level.”

Aldaris smirked. “It’s fine as long as you can pilot it. You don’t have to worry about the rest.”

Everyone had something hidden up their sleeve. Sheyan had ‘+13 West’, while Ronnie had ‘Phantom Ghost Flash’. So, why wouldn’t Aldaris have some power he had hidden away too?

He put his hand into his pocket and slowly took it out. There was a small glittering test tube in his palm. Inside the test tube was an object which looked like a diamond and also like a transparent gravel that shined with a golden glow. When he shook the test tube, the object would ripple as if it was not real. It looked illusory and untouchable.

This was the ultimate card Aldaris had hidden away!

A powerful S-tier item!

The Sands of Time!

In ancient Egypt, time was often kept with hourglasses. The symbol of the God of Time was a huge hourglass that was full of fine golden sand and was filled with strange, twisted magic. Legend had it that a person who used the Hourglass of Time without getting permission would be cursed as a fallen soul.

The single grain of the Sands of Time that Aldaris had in his hand had been soaked in the the power of purification. Any object that came into contact with it could travel through the river of time and space, changing into their past or future form.

Of course, there was a limit. The time span could not exceed twenty-four hours.

This power would also consume a lot of energy, so after it was performed, the grain would fly back into the Hourglass.

More importantly, because the power of a single grain of the Sands of Time was limited, the object or creature that was the subject of its power must not show any resistance. That was to say, it could not be used on hostile creatures.

For Aldaris, the most important use he could think of for the Sands of Time was to save his life. The item’s power was actually really frightening. For example, imagine if Aldaris was to fight with Sheyan 1v1. Aldaris would launch all his strongest abilities and use his honorary dosage, and when he was on the verge of defeat, he would suddenly bust out the Sands of Time to return to his condition an hour ago!

The Aldaris from an hour ago was naturally in his peak condition. Not only was his HP full, his ultimates and honorary dosage were all still available.

That was to say, if the Sands of Time were used at a critical time, then it was equivalent to having three more lives and and the ability to spam two more rounds of ultimates! How insane was that? But in this moment, although Aldaris was reluctant to part with it, he had no choice but to use the Sand of Time on the destroyed Predator sub-ship to restore it to the state it was in after it had just landed, which was tantamount to a complete repair.

Aldaris was much stronger than Dardanian in both spirit and courage. After Cyborg No. 2 familiarised himself with the operation of the spaceship, Aldaris immediately ordered the cyborg to fly away at full speed without any hesitation. The spaceship quickly left Uplos’ atmosphere.

Aldaris actually took off later than Dardanian did, mainly because it took some time for the Sands of Time to recover the condition of such a large spaceship.

Upon the Predator mothership on the night sky, when Arbitrator Bloodspear received a distress call from below, he was so anxious that he flew down in an emergency life capsule – out of all the Predators on the whole mothership, only Bloodspear could do this. After Bloodspear was gone, Veron should have been the one to take over command, but no one knew if he was even alive right now, so the command fell to his deputy.

However, Veron’s deputy was weak in both strength and prestige, and to make matters worse, the Predators that the ship was carrying were all nobility who were young and arrogant. Since their status was high and the current leader lacked courage, the power on the ship immediately showed signs of shifting.

The radar jamming from the Kitty Hawk base appeared at that moment. The situation on the Predator mothership instantly turned chaotic.

It was reasonable to say that everything was going the contestants’ way in that moment. It was also at this time that Dardanian’s Wasp broke through Uplos’s atmosphere together with 5 other decoys, and they flew away in six different directions.

The mothership of course detected this immediately. Although they were suffering some interference, but it was only some interference after all. Even if 40% of the ship’s functions were obstructed, there were still 60% left!

So, after waiting for two to three minutes to confirm that there were no more escaping spacecrafts, the Predator who was in charge of the firing system simply pressed a key, and six merciless beams shot out to destroy all six Wasps with little effort!!!

Dardanian, dead!!
