3 out of 14.
Such was the cruel reality. Such was the cruel fate.
Of course, it was only cruel for these Ents who were already legendary-tier.
The reason why there were only three spots was because there were certain restrictions on the numbers of the Sin’dorei tribe. The rules of the Realm made it impossible for them to bring more powerful figures than that into the alternate dimension. In fact, according to the rules, based on the formidable combat power of the Ents, the Sin’dorei tribe had already reached the limit by bringing old Sindalor alone.
Fortunately, although the Ents were unbelievably powerful creatures of war, they could also function as “buildings” for the Elves to live in. The Sin’dorei tribe indeed had the right to bring along the private villas under their name that they had the land use rights certificate and the property rights certificate of. However, there was a limit to how much they could manipulate the loophole. The Realm had already given Sheyan a lot of face by allowing three.
To be compared and selected like objects in a market was quite degrading, but only five of the Ents left, driven by their pride. However, although the remaining nine Ents were all determined to get a spot, they had also formed a temporary alliance, adamant not to give in to the Sin’dorei tribe’s demands!
Unfortunately for them, Sheyan had already expected such a situation to occur and had long planned for it. So when our dear Mr. Ferrell, who had secretly been designated as the recipient of one of the spots through nepotism, stood up and trampled on the mutual agreement between the Ents by taking one of the places offered without any moral integrity, the efforts of the Ents ended up in vain.
With only two spots remaining, the other eight Ents could only abandon all the agreements they reached before. Three more Ents then withdrew from the competition, either because they knew their strength was insufficient, or because the conditions were too harsh for them to accept. However, the remaining five high-tier legendary Ents were no longer willing to let go of the chance no matter how harsh the conditions were.
That’s because Father Time was the most merciless being in the world! Even though the lifespan of the Ents were ten times longer than that of the Elves, there was always an end. As long as they could not evolve into a World Tree, they would not step foot in that magical realm, and their lifespan would not be refreshed.
These five Ents had traveled over almost the entire Middle Earth during their long years in the hope of discovering another Land of Miracles, but they only ended up disappointed. They had even tried to challenge the authority of Teldrassil, but the combination of the World Tree and the Elves was so powerful that it made them feel hopeless.
The key reason was that the energy of the Land of Miracles was only enough to support one World Tree, so each Ent could only fight for themselves. It was impossible for them to ally together to challenge Teldrassil’s authority.
In the end, the dust settled, and four powerful high-tier legendary Ents ended up settling in the Sin’dorei tribe (including Sindalor). With the combined power of the four Ents, let alone Treebeard, they could even go up against the World Tree Teldrassil.
From the perspective of long-term planning, even if the Sin’dorei tribe was extremely unlucky, surely one of the four legendary Ents would advanced into a World Tree. It must be known that the starting point of the current World Tree, Teldrassil, was far lower than the strong foundation and noble species of these four ancient Ents! A more normal estimate was, within a hundred years, the Sin’dorei tribe would own at least three World Trees. What did that mean?
First of all, a country built upon three World Trees as foundation could support an astonishingly high population. But more importantly, when the citizens died, they could choose one of two methods of rebirth. The lower way was to reincarnate into a new body, whereas the higher way was to directly condense a body around the World Tree.
These two methods of escaping death were both inseparable from the power of the World Tree. In terms of actual statistics, when the Elves of the Sin’dorei tribe died in the future, their speed of rebirth would be 200% faster than the Elves of Middle Earth!
Next, the problem of the ownership of the Tunguska region and the Chernobyl region on Earth had to be resolved. The best method was actually for the ES Consortium to fund some projects in those areas.
The Tunguska region was the less troublesome of the two. The country’s government were lacking in money, so they were more than willing to make some profits as long as it would not damage the forestry resources. However, they still had some reservations about the strict blockade system requested by ES Consortium to seal off the region, and were as yet unwilling to agree to this demand.
The Chernobyl region, on the other hand, was only 120 kilometers away from the capital of Ukraine, so to carve out a large piece of land there to be put under the sealed, strict surveillance of a foreign company was something of major concern.
That was when the Sin’dorei Elves started to make their moves. These Elves were all beautiful, male and female alike, and were experts in charming. Coupled with the financial attack of ES Consortium, they destroyed all the obstacles in their path.

After finishing all these matters, Sheyan heard another piece of good news. Sanzi had finally mastered the ability of fate, but what was strange was that the ability Sanzi mastered was given a rather special name — ‘Butterfly Effect’.
According to Sanzi, this kind of situation would indeed happen sometimes – a mutation would occasionally occur in the ability learned by a Chosen. As for whether the mutation was good or bad, it was hard to say.
Sanzi had paid a great price to master the ability. He had almost used up all his utility points and achievement points.
On the side of the Empire, Sheyan was also working tirelessly for his promotion to Major General. He spent the Pi element ingots in his possession lavishly for the sake of this purpose. Finally, he obtained some concrete news. It was stated that he had fought a fierce battle with the rebels in the Orion constellation and destroyed seven enemy Battlecruisers, which could be considered an outstanding achievement, so he had already fulfilled his condition of promotion. The promotion procedure had already begun.
Sheyan had no idea when he had been to the Orion constellation and how he could destroy seven Battlecruisers, but that was how it was written in the records. Sheyan naturally had no objection to that. From this, one could see the rapid rise in Prince Pombaru’s power.
However, Prince Pombaru was still only a prince, not the Emperor.
That was why Sheyan still had to go through the normal procedures. There was nothing Prince Pombaru could do about it. If he forcefully intervened, the result may even be counterproductive. After all, the greater Prince Pombaru’s power grew, the more people he offended, and the more people who would step forward to hold Sheyan back.
Fortunately, Sheyan’s case was marked as “special” and “urgent”, so even under normal procedures, it should be done as fast as possible. And a very important thing to note was that as soon as the promotion was confirmed, Sheyan could immediately enjoy the benefits and privileges of the promotion even if he was in the middle of a Realm War.
With that in mind, Sheyan could not help but take out the Major General’s Blood Armour and caress it, feeling the shine on its surface. The look in his eyes was serene and deep.
There were also times when Sheyan felt unsure.
A Realm War.
A high intensity Realm War!
A high intensity Realm War where they had to prevail against superior enemy numbers!!
Anyone who dared to take this matter lightly would probably die a horrible death!
If he could only put on the Major General Blood Armour as early as possible... Sheyan really fancied the powerful fleeing ability that was ‘Peerless’.
At this time, Reef walked in from the outside. He seemed less tense than before.
“Do you know who just came looking for me?”
Sheyan’s eyes narrowed. “Someone who went to you instead of me? That’s rare. The person must be very clear about the relationship between us, has some conflict with me, and is rather familiar with you. It’s Aldaris, isn’t it? That bastard must have heard some things.”
Reef nodded. “What do you think?”
Sheyan laughed. “If he wants to join, then why not.”
Party Ace was short of hands at the moment. Since Sheyan was familiar with Aldaris and Aldaris had asked to join them after smelling something fishy, it was a mutually beneficial agreement. Sheyan was not that narrow-minded.
All of a sudden, there was a flash on the table between the two, and an invitation letter appeared on it. With a wave of Sheyan’s hand, the content was immediately presented to them.
“Zone C4, No.14.”
Zone C was the rest area inside the Realm, and Zone C4 was the VIP area. No.14 must be the room number. Reef laughed when he saw the content.
“Looks like this war is putting a great pressure on everyone involved. Someone couldn’t sit still anymore and has come looking for you.”
“I wonder who it is?” puzzled Sheyan as he stared at the invitation.
A few names came to his mind, but he quickly discarded each of them. Since the power of Party Ace grew rapidly, Noah Realm C had rarely let them encounter other contestants from the same Realm in the Nightmare Worlds.
“I think it might be a leader of another party who wish to talk about cooperation,” said Reef after a moment of hesitation.
Sheyan nodded nonchalantly. “Would you like to meet this person with me?”
Reef’s curiosity was piqued. “Sure,” he replied.

Inside a similar party lounge.
The place was decorated like a medieval aristocratic sitting room, with a wide fireplace, shiny beast fur on the ground instead of carpets, and more conspicuously, a wall full of hanging skulls!!
Among these skulls were the skulls of Xenomorphs, Predators, Zerg, Elves, and even the metallic heads of robots...perfectly showcasing the owner’s wonderful achievements.
The chairs in the lounge were all very crude, not much more than pieces of logs fashioned directly into stools. One could tell that they were chopped straight from the trees, with the bark still intact and the tree rings clearly visible. A boar was roasting on the fireplace, the dripping oil sizzling when it fell to the fire.
“We may have the numerical advantage in this war, but Noah Realm C has roped in several powerful new MT’s by offering benefits and bribes. There’s a guy who can control gravity, and a monster who can consume equipment. If we get careless, I wouldn’t be surprised if we lose.”
The person talking was a man who was as big as a bear, and he was also wearing the grim white skull of a bear on his head!
