Yun Muqing rolled her eyes and muttered, "If you've suffered, I honestly couldn't tell."

"Now that you're back, I don't have to order food delivery anymore!" Yun Muyu said with a smile. She crouched on the floor and looked at the two children. "Duo Duo, do you miss me? Oh, you've brought back a handsome boy too. You must be Xiao Hu."

Duo Duo quickly hid behind Chu Feng's back and poked out her head. "Ahh, a ghost! Aunt Muyu was eaten by a ghost! I'm so happy, I mean, I'm so scared… Hee hee…"

Chu Feng burst out laughing. Yun Muyu was dressed in a long white dress, and her hair was scattered all over her back. If one did not look carefully, she indeed looked like the typical ghost in horror movies.

"How dare you say I'm a ghost, you brat! And I thought you were cute!" Yun Muyu pouted and pinched Duo Duo's cheeks. "Also, why are you so happy that I'm eaten by a ghost? Do you even have a heart?"

"I don't, actually!" Duo Duo blinked and stuck out her tongue. "If you're eaten by a ghost, I'd eat a hundred cupcakes to celebrate!"

"I'll eat a hundred cupcakes too! If Duo Duo is happy, so am I!" Xiao Hu said, trying his best to flatter Duo Duo.

It was then Yun Muyu realized she was not as important as she thought.

"Don't just stand there and smile, Chu Feng. Can't you speak up for me? They're bullying me!" Yun Muyu stamped her foot, hugged Chu Feng's elbow, and dragged him into the kitchen. "I'm starving to death. Quick, cook something for me. I'm so sick of eating delivery food for the past three days."

"Hey, don't touch me! You smell like you haven't showered in the past three days. I don't want your germs on my body!" Chu Feng said disdainfully.

Yun Muqing breathed a sigh of relief and smiled warmly when she saw the scene. It felt like home that way.

Eventually, Chu Feng relented and went to the kitchen to cook a bowl of noodles for Yun Muyu.

The dish was simple: A bowl of egg noodles topped with a few slices of ham, tomatoes, and two sunny- side-up eggs, garnished with spring onions and some sesame oil. It looked very delicious.
