Maybe I got back together with him not because I still love him, but because I have too much regret about how things ended the last time and I want to win this time…”

She was upset that her sincere feelings were wasted the last time and she regretted admitting defeat in humiliation, so she wanted to taste the feeling of “having all those things” one more time.
