The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 190 - 190 City F

Chapter 190 - 190 City F

190 City F

With that, it was settled that they would take turns driving towards City F. This time, Kyle took the position of guarding along with Kate. The two of them would deal with the giant mutated animals coming towards their car with one shot kill.

No matter how many giant mutated animals appeared, they would end up either rotting on the spot or burned to ashes.

Lucy felt her scalp turned numb when she watched this view. “I couldn’t believe that Professor Kyle and Little Kitty to be so powerful.”

Damn, they didn’t even need to get close to these giant mutated animals.

For some reason, Lucy felt a bit jealous. She would have to get close to these giant mutated animals to kill them by pummeling each and every single one to death.

“But it’s a bit of a hassle if these giant mutated animals get close to them.” Lotte smiled. She actually wanted to say that even if these giant mutated animals managed to get close, Kate could still use her space ability to confine them while they rested, but felt that there was no point in saying that.

The combination of these two were simply too perverted.

“Right.” Lucy thought for a moment and felt more energized. She also had her own roles in the battle, so there was no need for her to feel so depressed.

Anyway, everyone had their advantage and weakness.

.....

Her weakness is long range battle while her biggest advantage is short range battle. Those giant mutated animals would be beaten up to death by her.

“Meow?” <The number of giant mutated animals is no longer as many when we walk out back then. Did their decrease over time?>

“It might be because this area had been cleaned recently.” Lotte shrugged.

Marc nodded. “It’s not possible for all the giant mutated animals to be eliminated so easily, so it might be result of the cleaning in this area. But if we were to get out of this area, there might be more giant mutated animals roaming around.”

Kate thought about it and no longer said anything. She knew that these giant mutated animals are very annoying and wouldn’t be eliminated so easily. Still, she wanted to cling on the hope that it was possible to eliminate these giant mutated animals someday.

Well, if everyone worked together, it should be possible, no?

Looking at these giant mutated animals, Kate simply willed those white dots to pour towards her body.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Soon, these giant mutated animals were all dying on the ground without even knowing what had happened.

Everything happened so fast.

Kate looked at the scene and felt that she had become more and more and indifferent towards the scene of death. Even when so many giant mutated animals fell into their death in front of her, she felt that it was something normal by now.

Kate sighed at her own adaptive ability. If it was in the past, she might feel uncomfortable.

But by now, she nearly felt nothing.

But thinking that these giant mutated animals were indeed extremely annoying and better end up dead for the sake of humanities, Kate pulled herself away from those thoughts.

She just wanted to get everything done quickly.

After lunch, Marc and Lucy took turn to drive the car while Lica and Dylan rested at the back. Dylan was still as cold as ever while Lica was busy messing around with her tablet. She’s a rank 4 dual ability of wind and fire, which overlapped with the others.

But it was also because of this overlapping that she could play the role of support for them during battle if necessary.

“How many people are still alive in City F after the horde of giant mutated animals attacked?” Lotte asked.

“There’s no definite number, but it’s definitely quite a lot.” Lica looked at Lotte and smiled reassuringly. “Don’t worry, humanity wouldn’t lose so easily against these giant mutated animals.”

In just two months or so, there were already so many things that were different from before. Countless awakened people were appearing one by one and showed power that was far above normal human.

How long this will last was something that was unknown.

“Have you researched more about the gems?” Kyle asked. He didn’t participate in the research again for a long period of time.

“Yes. We estimated that the cause of the red rain is these gems, but we have no definite proof. In addition, there’s some people who said that there might be the third red rain in the future.” Lica looked somewhat helpless.

“Third red rain?”

The others were immediately attracted, including Kate. They had to admit that while this red rain benefited them, they were not the only who benefited with the appearance of the red rain.

These giant mutated animals were also benefited and grew stronger.

Not to mention, during the second red rain, there more giant mutated animals appearing because of the mutation that occurred. They definitely couldn’t stand it if there were the third red rain and countless giant mutated animals were to appear again.

“It’s just estimation because we’re not clear about it.” Lica looked in the direction of City F. “This is why I need to check something from these gems.”

Kyle nodded, his eyes whirled with unknown thoughts within.

The journey towards City F ended without much surprise. Aside from those giant mutated animals dying because of Kyle and Kate working together, there were nothing much to see or experience on the way.

City F is in even worse ruins as compared to when they first saw City E.

Not to mention, there were still a lot of giant mutated animals roaming around when they approached, which were settled directly by them using their elemental abilities.

“Check if there’s anyone nearby.” Kyle glanced at Lica and Lotte.

“Yes!”

The two women quickly used their wind ability and began to check everywhere. They had to find out if there were any survivor nearby while they cleared up these giant mutated animals.
