Chapter 13 The Date
Chapter 13 The Date
?"Hm~ not MoonBucks?" Aria asked curiously after seeing that Chris was taking her to another coffee store than MoonBucks.
Chris's steps paused and he turned to look at her, "You want to drink at that? I think coffee there is a bit bitter and I don't like it much. But, of course if you want to go there, then sure."
Chris asked worriedly, however to be honest he hasn't drunk at MoonBucks ever. His some friends told him that the coffee there was bitter and he just believed those words.
"No no, I was just commenting, I think it's a bitter too." Aria quickly waved her hand in denial, her heart however was beating even faster at Chris's subtle caring and kind nature.
"Phew, I am glad, I never knew dates could be so nerve racking." Chris sighed in relief and murmured to himself but somehow Aria heard his words.
"You never knew... Ara~ Don't tell me this is your first date." Aria didn't let the free chance go, and quickly teased him.
"O-of course it isn't."
It was his first.
"So you have been on many dates? tsk, that's a bummer." Aria didn't know why, but teasing him was very, very fun. Maybe it was fun because Chris teased her first or she... No one knows.
"I-I haven't!"
"Hm~ Then?"
"..."
Chris stared at Aria who had a faint smirk on her face and said, "Let's just go for the coffee already."
Saying that, he quickly turned away and began to walk quickly to the Cafe he went with his parents once.
"Hehe" Aria also giggled and quickly caught up with him walking into the classy, small cafe, it gave a bit homely and peaceful, calming vibes that soothed the mind.
The waiter came to take a order and Chris asked for their best large coffee, but before sending the waiter away, "Would you like anything else then coffee?" He asked to Aria.
"No, Thanks." She smiled and denied politely gesturing the waiter to go away.
She placed her palm on cheek and leaned on the table, her alluring eyes looking at Chris in a flirty way.
She didn't say a word, but her actions aroused the poor teenage, inexperienced Chris to another level! He gulped audibly looking into her eyes, nearly losing himself in their enchanting beauty.
"W-What?" Chris barely fumbled the words out looking at Aria nervously, 'Ahh, is she gonna propose?!'
"I was thinking..." Aria intentionally took a brief pause building more tension, and then finally said it, "You need a new haircut too."
"Huh?" Chris's computer hanged, unable to process her unexpected reply. He just kept looking at her with a blank expression.
"Pfft hahahahaa!" Aria suddenly began laughing, "I oh my gosh, I am gonna die laughing." she clenched her stomach and banged the table to control her laughing.
"Very funny, huh?" Chris's eyebrows twitched at the teasing vixen and he gritted his teeth, unable to think of a good comeback.
"Yep, very funny." She continued laughing and thought, 'Shit! Teasing him is way more fun than expected!'
"Well, keep laughing then, you look really pretty when you laugh." that was all it took to make Aria shut up and blush.
"Oh yes, it's indeed pretty fun to tease." Chris broke the silence with a smirk.
"Sir, Ma'am, your coffee." waiter came for the save and stopped their teasing quarrel.... or maybe not.
"Who asked for this?" Aria asked in shock looking at coffee that had the chocolate powder sprinkled on top in shape of a heart.
"Yeah, we didn't ask this." Chris also nodded, making waiter sweat in nervousness.
"Uhh, sir, the staff thought of you two as a nice couple and did this... it's on the house." Waiter hurriedly apologized.
"..." Chris didn't say anything and just looked at Aria, his thinking was clear, if she was okay, then he was more than ready to drink this one.
"Uhh... well we Can't waste it." Aria blushed from Chris's look and shyly agreed to take the cup. She once again gestured the waiter to get lost, and he also quickly darted away.
"By the way, you never told me, what do you do?" Aria asked curiously while sipping the coffee.
"Just a small business," Chris smiled mysteriously and didn't bother to elaborate his answer.
"Tsk, being vague with me, huh?" Aria humphed but she also respected his privacy and didn't ask again...
Just like that more time went by and the two just kept chatting, few jokes and blushes in between but, the mood was light and nice.
"Hey," coffee was barely any remaining and it was getting late, but Chris suddenly called softly, his devilish voice surfacing again.
He looked in Aria's eyes and leaned a little closer, of course he didn't go for the kiss already but just a little more closer.
"Dinner, tomorrow?" He continued in his same voice bewitching Aria in the process who still can't get used to his moon changes.
"S-Sure, I would really like that." Aria smiled back, trying to act normal even when her breathing was already getting faster and her eyes getting hazy.
She was getting turned on just by his voice and his gestures! This was when he still hadn't recieved the charm pill...If he will recieve that...
"Thanks, and yes, I lied. You are the first girl I have been on a date with." Chris smiled and gestured the waiter to send the bill.
"I-I see..." Aria nodded stiffly, her emotions raging all over her body and she didn't know what to say. She didn't know this yet, but she had already fallen for Chris.
"Well, Aria. It's getting a bit late. I really and I honestly mean really, enjoyed my time with you. Thank you." Chris was first to get up the seat since he still needed to do some other stuff today aswell.
According to his schedule, he was supposed to look for a house today too, but he messed the schedule pretty much for Aria. Now he needs a vehicle and he will call it a day.
"Me too. I really liked my time with you too. I am looking forward to tomorrow." Aria smiled genuinely, "also, ask me my number idiot!"
"T-That was totally my plan." Chris scratched his head in embarrassment and took her number in his phone.
He was a bit ashamed of his battered old phone but Aria didn't say anything, so neither did he. He waved her in farewell and left the coffee store.
"..." Aria saw him leave and sighed, in her heart she wanted him to stay more... but well, that would have been bad for her heart, that silly fellow was still racing and anticipating the tomorrow night.
'I hope he proposes tomorrow...' She sighed and chuckled, 'If he doesn't, I will.'
