Chapter 235: Chapter 235: Senior Sister, You Look So Beautiful

That night, Luo Ziling and Yang Qingyin both had sweet dreams.

Waking up naturally from sleep was one of life’s great pleasures.

When Luo Ziling woke up, it was 7:30 in the morning. He had gone to bed at 10 o’clock the previous evening and had slept for over nine hours, so he felt full of energy. As soon as he turned over, he heard the sound of a WeChat message—it was from Yang Qingyin. He quickly opened it to read.

“Junior, have you gotten up yet?” The message was followed by several smirk emojis.

Luo Ziling replied with a smile on his face, “Senior, I just woke up and saw your message as soon as I opened my eyes.”

“So you’ve just woken up too?” After a couple of bashful emojis, she added, “I’ve just woken up myself.”

“It seems like Senior had a good dream.”

“Didn’t you have a good dream?”

“Yes, I did!”

“What did you dream about?”

Reading Yang Qingyin’s message, Luo Ziling couldn’t resist being mischievous and quickly replied, “I dreamt about Senior.”

As a result, Yang Qingyin sent back two rolling-eye emojis.

“Really, I also dreamt about taking Senior horseback riding.” Luo Ziling replied earnestly, without adding any emojis.

“Then hurry up and get out of bed. Let’s go horseback riding,” Yang Qingyin’s message came in promptly.

When Yang Qingyin was sending him this message, her face bloomed with a smile as radiant as flowers.

Luo Ziling was still unaware of his good fortune at being able to see Yang Qingyin’s smiling face so often.

Fellow classmates, and even her parents and other family members, rarely had the chance to see her smile this brightly.

However, Luo Ziling, our dear friend, continued to be “oblivious,” not realizing the supreme honor it was for him.

Yang Qingyin wasn’t like other women who took a long time to dress and make up. Not one to wear makeup, she moved quickly in the morning. In less than twenty minutes, she was all dressed up and appeared in front of Luo Ziling.

For a beautiful young girl in the prime of youth to go from waking up to all dolled up in just twenty minutes was remarkably fast.

Hearing a knock, Luo Ziling opened the door to see Yang Qingyin, ready to knock, and unexpectedly burst into a smile, “I was about to go down and buy some breakfast. I didn’t expect you to be so quick.”

“Let’s go to the dining hall together,” Yang Qingyin returned with a radiant smile.

“Senior, you look so pretty today. You’ll definitely turn heads 100%. Be careful that even the horses on the grasslands get attracted by your beautiful appearance,” Luo Ziling teased her after seeing her outfit for the day, “If I behave improperly in front of you, don’t mind me.”

Yang Qingyin today was dressed in the same clothes as yesterday, but instead of a ponytail, her hair was loosely draped.

In fact, Yang Qingyin hadn’t tried to dress up much, but the blush on her face made her irresistibly charming and delightful.

Luo Ziling’s comment instantly made Yang Qingyin blush, but she was extremely happy inside.

After having breakfast at the hotel’s dining hall, Luo Ziling took Yang Qingyin to a nearby horse farm for fun.

There were many places for horseback riding near the grasslands, but Luo Ziling couldn’t find a horse he liked and felt somewhat dismayed.

It wasn’t until they came to the fifth horse farm that Luo Ziling finally found a decent horse. However, after picking one out, the owner of the horse farm doused his enthusiasm with a cold reality check.

“Young man, this horse has a fiery temper. Even I, who grew up on horseback since I was a child, haven’t fully tamed it. You’d better set your sights on a gentler horse,” the stable owner warned Luo Ziling, encouraging him to ride one of the tamer horses instead.

But Luo Ziling was determined to ride this horse and claimed he could tame it.

“Then let him give it a try,” Yang Qingyin chimed in from the side.

With a beautiful girl speaking to him, the stable owner, in his forties, suddenly felt thrilled and ultimately didn’t refuse.

He did, however, warn Luo Ziling repeatedly to be careful and not to force riding the horse if it didn’t cooperate.

Luo Ziling seemed to turn a deaf ear, slowly approaching the horse.

The black horse, grazing leisurely, sensed danger as Luo Ziling got closer. It neighed loudly, kicked its hooves, then moved away a few steps and faced Luo Ziling with its head.

Luo Ziling had grown up in a small mountain village in the Northwest, quite far from any town, where horses were the most important means of transportation.

Although his grandfather had decent riding skills and Luo Ziling, who often kept horses company, was very proficient as well.

Once, he had even tamed a wild horse, although it later fell off a cliff and died because it lost its footing.

Afterward, Luo Ziling and his grandfather didn’t keep horses specially, but Luo Liansheng spent money to set up a small stable in the name of the village collective, which housed quite a few horses. Frequently riding and excelling in martial arts, Luo Ziling’s equestrian skills were impressive.

Under the concerned gazes of Yang Qingyin, Ye Xiaoli, and the stable owner, Luo Ziling approached the black horse again, suddenly lunged forward, and leaped onto the horse with an aerial flip.

Startled by the sudden weight of a person on its back, the black horse reared up and leaped, attempting to throw Luo Ziling off.

But Luo Ziling squeezed his legs tightly against the horse’s belly and pulled on the reins, leaning his body down.

After several bucks, the black horse was unable to dislodge Luo Ziling and eventually ran off furiously into the distance.

“Ziling, be careful,” Yang Qingyin, who was worried about an accident befalling Luo Ziling, couldn’t help but shout out loud.

Ye Xiaoli also looked tense, but the stable owner, who had been very concerned earlier, was no longer nervous. He believed in Luo Ziling’s equestrian skills; the horse, although fiery, wasn’t too difficult to subdue and was only challenging for ordinary people.

Indeed, the black horse’s frenzy didn’t harm Luo Ziling at all; he remained firmly seated atop the horse, racing across the grassland. After about fifteen minutes of running, the black horse realized it couldn’t throw Luo Ziling off and eventually calmed down, obediently allowing Luo Ziling to direct it.

After racing around a large loop, Luo Ziling steered the horse back to where Yang Qingyin was standing.

“Senior, you should believe I wasn’t bragging now, right?” Luo Ziling, seated on the horse, looked down at Yang Qingyin from his higher position. “Want a ride?”

“Of course I do,” Yang Qingyin responded with a smile, looking up at Luo Ziling. “You teach me.”

“I’ll take you on a round first,” Luo Ziling offered his hand to Yang Qingyin.

Without any hesitation, Yang Qingyin placed her hand in Luo Ziling’s.

With an exclamatory yelp, Yang Qingyin was swiftly lifted into the air by Luo Ziling.

After grabbing Yang Qingyin with both hands and lifting her, Luo Ziling then placed her securely in front of him on the saddle.

Startled by being lifted into the air by Luo Ziling, Yang Qingyin was a bit flustered after landing in the saddle, the tension making her panic slightly.

Luo Ziling’s arms wrapped around her waist and with a gentle pull, Yang Qingyin leaned back into his embrace.

Being held in Luo Ziling’s arms in front of everyone, Yang Qingyin’s heartbeat raced.
