Ezra followed. Putting his hands on the table opposite Maisie, he bent over, smiled, and asked, "A cup of coffee?"

He knew Maisie preferred coffee. Before Maisie said something, Daisy said awkwardly, "Mr. Cantillo, I can only make instant coffee."

Having been living with Maisie for a long time, Daisy still didn't know how to operate a coffee machine, although there were coffee machines in both Grafstin and Maisie's house. She was awkward when using these modern machines.
