Titan Rising Online: World Breaker

Chapter 195 195: Internet Chatter

Chapter 195 195: Internet Chatter

?The world was going crazy, but it was not just the world, Pop culture has not had anything significant to sink it's damn teeth in for years and now…. Cole freaking World Breaker Night had in the Span of just a single month and the half, broke the internet with his adventures, his talent and the fact that nobody knew that the word was in desperate need of a severe shock to the stereotypes of a chosen hero.

The studio responsible for telling his story pretty much had it out of their hands. The editor and director were off world and every single footage was handled directly by Sierra Corp itself. If that alone did not show just how important Cole was to the company, the nothing else would. A fandom had popped up, hard ore gamer enthusiasts who spent hours breaking down his abilities, his titles, his stats and predicting just what level his growth would take him. It was even more prevalent now that most of the universe now knew that there was a new world order coming.

There was widespread panic and quite a few governments were on the brink of collapse as riots had broken out, and so many other people have gone into hiding in their bunkers. But ultimately just like how the Coronavirus caused havoc some few hundred years ago, eventually people found a way to live with the fear and the worry and they all got a little bit of hope. Many would argue that Cole was villain, in fact he was so popular that many law enforcement agencies were contemplating whether or not to arrest him.

He was seen as a dangerous renegade that can destabilize society with the sheet amount of power that he had, and he very well could. But he was a Polarizing figure as many saw him as a necessary shock to the system. Fights had blown up in the streets, online and even Within games and Titan Rising Online itself about what role, Cole was playing exactly and if he truly was an advantage or disadvantage to humanity.

And while all of these was going on, Cole had absolutely no idea that his popularity has sky rocketed in the way that it did. Ultimately numerous news stations and government bodies have been trying to get in touch with the man, and none has been successful until today that is. But if wasn't as if they got in touch with him, heck Cole had no idea that there was an interview currently happening in his name, but even if he did, he would ha e wholeheartedly tried to do anything in his power to get out of it. Which was why Tehilla had taken it upon herself to stream an interview between herself and Cole's fandom.

People would be able to see her face, and she would be answering questions from the comments etc. Tehilla did not want to do this, she didn't fell she had to step in to make sure Cole's recently acquired fame was maintained.

But she too has spent more than her own fair share of time following his adventures, so she knew for a fact that he was damn busy always up to his neck in one problem after the other, and all of them had to do with women! She couldn't help it though, the pencil she had in her hands snapped, as an almost imperceptible wave of energy flew off her body and turned the remaining piece of it to dust and wood chips.

"Shit!"

She cursed out loud, her change so far has not been all rainbows and sunshine as frankly speaking, it was a bit hard for her to get used to her abilities and master it. And they almost always usually reacted to her mood, what was even worse was the fact that she had no idea what she was doing or rather what it was her power did.

It was times like this that she needed Cole around, but as always he's off playing anti-hero….. she missed him. Not that she would admit that to anyone, as she would rather die than do so, but right now, in this moment she missed him. There was a connection between the both of them that wasn't there before. And while she was still angry with him, she could not deny the fact that she felt safe in his presence, and at the same time felt compelled to protect him from his own naivety and the dangers of the world.

Tehilla sighed, she didn't know if it was just her, but honestly she was loosing her mind. Things have been really different since she…. Changed. She felt things…. Too many things. Of course that spectrum of emotions she was being assaulted with usually ended up being anger and irritability, but ultimately there was also longing, which was stupid as the idiot was logged in no more than 10 feet away from her. She was also more open and bold to the point of domination, Tehilla felt that she was becoming the woman she always wanted to be, but it was just as well that woman still wanted to rip Cole's clothes to shreds and appreciate the Nubian Godlike body of Asian heritage….. she really needed help.

She shifted her attention to the screen in front of her, the stream had not yet started so she had a few moments to herself to look through the multiple forums that had popped out in regards to Cole. Some of the things she saw though gave her a headache, she had to actively fight back a shudder as frankly speaking you can find any amount of bullshit on the internet…. As long as you knew where you were looking.

<RambiBambi838383: There's a conspiracy afoot I tell you! All of you idiots buying into the nonsense that's Cole Night! Heed my warnings brethren! That man is the antichrist! There are the end times and he is indoctrinating you, not giving you hope! Subscribe to my channel for an in depth understanding of the signs he has shown.>

<Great-Man-Dong: yuck another one of these yahoos. But even then so what if he's the antichrist, there's soon going to be hell on earth when that system gets here and instead of you to be prepared, focused and learning your spinning conspiracy theories like some old drunk in a bar. You disgust me!?>

<Oppailover69: Urgh why do you guys have to be so damn serious about everything, we should first appreciate his handsomeness. But beyond that did you guys watch the latest episode? Did you see all that fuck ups with the super powered zombies? And that giant world eater worms abyss abomination thing that he slayed! My god I creamed my panties…. What I wouldn't do to spend a night with such a hunk of a man ?>

<ChaChingMula: but you're a guy?>

<Oppailover69: So?>

<Morgan-Freeman-The III-The VIII: My God I'm so traumatized right now?>

Rhea was barely able to keep herself from twitching in annoyance at what she was reading, she always knew that the world, the information world was fucked up in all sorts of ways. She just never knew how much, or perhaps maybe she did always know how fucked up it was. But she did not have the necessary emotional spectrum to really understand or appreciate just how debased it was. But never the less the time for the interview had already drawn close as the stream picked up.

Her interviewer was a famous Uni-Net blogger. And also a small time conglomerate owner, she had built her reputation and her empire from the ground up. And even though it was not quite as big as the other massive news agencies or entertainment channels, Xion-TV has been at the heart of many fans for many years. But ultimately what was even better about it was the fact that It was owned by Tehilla's own cousin, and much more than that, not more than a few hours ago, Tehilla was able to buy a 35% stake in the company, making her a partial owner of the damn thing.

So maybe the interview was not as random as she had first made it out to be. By this point having a lack of control over the information that comes out of Cole's estate would be a very terrible idea. All of this fame was good for business and the sooner the returned to earth and started putting it to good use the better for everyone, but until then it was up to her to make sure that some level of the Influence Cole had was still prevalent, and thankfully Cole was doing most of that himself by just being himself.

It was worrying on all counts about what the future holds, but ultimately she was ready, she had made her choice. This time there was no family to push and cajole her. No mother or father ashamed of how broken she was and thought the best thing to do was to use her as a bargaining chip in a political alliance. This time she was choosing to stay by his side, and if that meant caring a bit for his wellbeing then so be it, because at least this time it was her choice.

<Xion Li Yen: Good afternoon Lady Tehilla how are you doing today?">

"….. I'm doing fine Xion…..I'm doing great?."
