Chapter 289 289: Part 1: Population Crisis Birth Of The Raen Divisions
[Upgrade Requirements: 5000 Stone And Ore Units, 1000 Wood Units, 200 Magic Cores, 10 Iron Rank Prisms]
This was just for the first level, as far as Cole knew as it was in the bronze rank, each level would require exponentially more resources than the previous ones. Normally by this point in time there shouldn't be a single Aspirant territory or Glade that could muster this amount of resources.
At the very least not without every single Aspirant within working over time to harvest resources. And all of them would pool these resources and not keep any for themselves. As far as the ore, stone and wood requirements go, Cole was golden.
The same could be said for the magic core, he has massacred, in what could only be described as a genocidal act of epic proportions, scores of darklings. So much so that if he should pull out all the cores in his inventory or the Glade's inventory he would be swimming in it. With the addition and combination of all three glades, Cole lost the buildings and upgrades, but he got the inventories. There was so much resources, he could afford to raise two other Glades to the silver rank. What was finite however were the prisms.
He had enough to facilitate the upgrade to silver….he hopped. But ultimately the territory would have to focus on gathering Resources until such as time as he could return to the 3rd floor. It never the less Cole facilitated the upgrade, calculating just how much it would take for him to raise the territory to Iron rank X.
[Use 81,000 Stone And Ore Units, +45,000 Units Of Wood, +4500 Magic Cores, +1440 Iron Prisms]
[Territory: Raen Valley Has Been Raised From Iron Rank I to Iron Rank X! Energy +18,000, +900 Territory Points]
[Upgrade Requirements To Silver! +100,000 Units Of Ore And Stone, +50,000 Units Of Wood, +5000 Magic Cores, +10 Silver Prisms, +1 Silver Or Higher Ranked Artifact Of Demonic, Magical Or Technological Nature, Total Territory Population ...10,000, Total Raen Population 2000]
"Well shit!"
Cole definitely did not see the population aspect coming. They were not even up to half of that amount. Excluding the west Glade aspirants and denizens still wandering outside of his territory and trying to make a home for themselves, the east and south only came up to as much as 2500 people as a whole, this was annoying. Cole did not want more people to be in his territory, it would make things a lot harder to control and leaves things a mess.
But then again it was incredibly stupid of him to think this would not be the case. But ultimately even if they let all these other people in, it would still not be enough. The only other way was to wait for the opening of the fifth floor in about 3 days. There would be an influx of new aspirants, so perhaps it would be that much easier to boost the population then, plus there was also Tehilla. Cole sighed, the silver Ranked seemed close yet it seemed so far, never the less he had to at least fix the territory problem, and what other way to do than to delegate the problem to his underlings.
"Farida, Thunder-Jack I need you two to go outside of the territory and invite the displaced aspirants and denizens of the western Glade to join us. However you should lay down the law and let them know what I'm offering and what the code of conduct is supposed to be, we will welcome them, treat them well, but they must also contribute to the territory." Cole has pretty much never used the party chat or call function since he started this event, he had to say it was pretty nifty.
He got quick responses from the both of them, as he saw them fly over him heading for the entrance and out of the territory. This would at least ease up on the population problems, but Cole would still need to set up delegates. Tehilla can't do everything by herself, and there were many aspects of a territory that would have to be looked over. Perhaps it would be the one thing he would take care of, before logging out to wait for the 5th floor to open…..or maybe he would go hunting, who knows….or perhaps it was time to pay attention to his farm and other knowledge.
He sighed in exasperation as he moved into the forest, that place seemed like a good enough place to give himself a minute and think. He needed leadership structures in place, and for things to start moving quickly and smoothly. He had already proposed an idea of seven divisions, drawing massive inspiration from the anime Bleach, it was time to put it into detail.
· Division 1: Leadership(Patent Pending) <Head: Cole> <Vice-Head: Tehilla> <3rd Seat through 7th Seat>
· Division 2:Technological And Territory Development: <Head: Castor Phonenixborn> <Vice-Head: N/A> <3rd Seat: Razor> <4th Through 7th Seat>
· Division 3: Military Operations And Territorial Defenses: <Head: Eze> <Vice-Head: Pollux Phoenixborn> <3rd Seat Through 7th Seat>
· Division 4: Diplomatic And Territory Administration (D.A.T.A): <Head: Farida> <Vice-Head: Thunder-Jack> <3rd Seat Through 7th>
· Division 5: Threat Assessment, Espionage Operations, Assessment And Logistics Division (T.E.A.L): <Head: Delarosa> <Vice-Head: Cassandra> <3rd Seat Through 7th>
· Division 6: Local And Territory Security Operations(Police): <Head: Irma Phoenixborn> <Vice-Head: Dragon> <3rd Seat Through 7th>
· Division 7: Institute For Demonic, Energy And Arcane Mastery(I.D.E.A): <Head: N/A> <Vice-Head: N/A> <3rd Through 7th Seat>
Cole wanted to pay himself on the back, especially in the areas of acronyms. Perhaps he never noticed, but he was a genius. He chuckled to himself, perhaps a little refining needed to be done, and maybe new divisions might be added later on should the situation call for it, but right now, this was what he needed to run his territory and everyone in their positions were fit for it. The filling of the other positions would be left up to the heads.
As for the 7th division Cole felt that he would find someone eventually that fit the bill. Magic was now and important part of his territory, and with level 100 coming his way, he got the feeling things would no longer be as simple as having skills and using stat points to level his stats. Knowledge, Mastery and understanding was required, and as such an entire division devoted to it. He smiled, as he leaned back against the tree and for the first in a long time, closed his eyes and slept.
