Chapter 69 069: Titus Boris IV
?The snake was gone, but the people in the manor had already gathered in the foyer. Honestly he didn't think there would be that much people in the manor, but there were absolutely dozens of them in here, and more than a few of them were Aspirants. The orc that he and Morgan had ran over was slowly getting up from the ground, but he too was an Aspirant.
"Well hello everyone, can you all just point me to couple of horse thieves and the horses they stole? Cole asked, as he held his rifle at the ready, in case he would have to fight his way out. However a Sylvain Aspirants walked forward, he silver hair seemingly glowing in the soft light lit up within the manor.
"There's no use, we are all trapped here by that field boss, and no one here is well equipped enough to face it. If you have a way out then, I would be happy to point you the horse thieves and the horses they stole, after all that was the same bounty that dragged me here." Cole raised an eyebrow before smiling then pointing to a trio of men at the other end of foyer.
"Is that not them over there?" Titan Rising Online still had the same help function to help you identify your quest targets. And the three were highlighted in red. But the Sylvain shook her head and said.
"It doesn't matter, even if you know it's them how do you expect to get them out with that snake patrolling outside. As it stands they are more than willing and compliant to leave this bloody valley, but we're all stuck here, because if it's the bloody monster outside, it's the ones within the manor that would do us in."
Cole raised an eyebrow at that, from the look of things it seems they really were stuck here. But not him though, after seeing that he was able to cause significant damage to the snake, enough that it had to even consider Cole and let out a threat, with him and Morgan joining forces it would not too hard to deal with the snake.
But there were probably other monsters in the valley and he would not be able to deal with them by himself. And then there was talk of monsters within the manor itself. He looked up at the Sylvain and asked.
"Is there a bounty for the monsters within the manor? From what I was able to find there were only bounties for the ju-jug- the juju something Apple. Unfortunately I noticed an apple tree on the back of that snake…. That wouldn't happen to be it would it?" Cole asked, as the Sylvain nodded, and then a goblin dressed in extremely gaudy silk suit, and looking a bit more humanoid than the others.
The hooked nose was absent, it was still pointed, but it was shorter and bit rounder. He still had tipped ears, but the wispy single strings of hair or completely bald look was absent from his head. Instead he had full locks of purple hair that were braided and his had blue eyes too.
"Welcome bounty Hunter, my name is Titus Boris and this is…. This used to be my orchard. I did have three bounties made, one to slay the monsters within the valley, another to slay the ones in the manor, and a third to retrieve my family heirloom that is hidden in my factory. If you would like to complete, I would offer the them to you along with the full rewards they carry."
Cole raised his eyebrows up again, what were the odds of that. Two of his bounties would be completed here, and he was being offered three more here. This would bring the number of bounties up to seven, and he would be able to complete six of them here…. That would be more than half his job for this floor done in one sitting.
Cole turned to the crowd of people around then asked. "How many of you have accepted this bounty?" he really needed to be sure how much of a competition he had to deal with here.
"Accepted? Zero! It's suicide!" the orc had gotten up to his feet and was glaring at Cole, but then Cole had a thought.
"That snake could not enter the house, it's as if there something in here preventing it from getting inside right?" He directed the question to Titus the goblin, he received a nod in response. Cole then turned and walked the few steps over to the orc as he bared elongated fangs and asked.
"Why the fuck were you barricading it then?" The orc sputtered, but he couldn't come up with an answer and everyone else had their heads down as he looked at each and every one of them. Looks like they were going to leave him outside to die, why? He had no idea, but he didn't care enough about their motives to take offense.
"Well let me see those bounties then?" Cole asked as he strode to the Goblin's side. Immediately a screen popped up in front of him with information about the Bounties, their level of difficulties, and their rewards. Cole unceremoniously accepted them all, he guessed there was no better time but now to go all in.
