Alec didn't argue with her because he had arrived at an answer.

She knew that Evan needed someone to look after him, and she moved in for that exact reason.

Now, she had to set Evan aside because she needed to take care of Alec, and she felt bad.

One day, when Jenny was still taking care of Alec in the hospital, Evan was looking dispirited at home.

Howard felt bad for him and suggested, "Boss, do you want me to bring a few men and get rid of that Faust dude?"

The idea had always been brewing in Howard's mind, but Evan had always asked him to hold back.

"Don't," Evan rejected the idea again.

"Alec Faust is no longer an ordinary citizen.First, there's the question of our capability to take him down.If we failed, we'd give him something to use against us."
