“What? Why?” Jenny didn’t expect it to be Evan. She hadn’t thought about him for a long time since the last phone call she made to him after leaving Monaerim. She hoped they would never meet again.
“Because he almost really made me lose you.” Alec looked at Jenny and enunciated word by word.

After being discharged from the hospital, he would propose. This incident made him realize how afraid he was of losing Jenny. Since that was the case, he should tie her to himself and make her his as soon as possible.
Jenny had no way of knowing Alec’s thoughts. If she knew that Alec was thinking about proposing at this time, she would probably not know how to react.
