Chapter 137: Battle of the Long Night (Greedy Young Master turns)

"Go! Go! Power Ranger!"

"Power ranger? You still remember about that TV show?"

"Why don't I?" 

"Well, I thought that TV show is childish enough for a rascal like you."

"Boys will always be boys. By the way, why do you want that madman's Devil Nut?"

"That madman is not as strong as the Demon King Commanders. But the Devil Seed he has is quite unique in that he could dodge [Blue Clarity] twice. So I thought I could research his Devil Seed which might have evolved. Maybe it will be useful as provision for you when you want to go to Floor 3."

"I see. Ok, got it."

Jared still couldn't move. 

"Fuuuuuuucckk!"

His head is burning inside out, and he couldn't do anything about it.

"Don't move!"

Suddenly a few hunters come to him from behind. One of them telling him to not move, while he can't even do shit. 

"Can't you see my head got pierced by this shit and make me can't do shit?!"

The thing is, they don't know about that. 

"I'm even surprised that you are still able to speak even though I've burned your whole head." 

Again, someone else came, this time the voice came from the front, and Jared gaped at the person's existence.

Jared wanted to point at the person, but his hands couldn't move. "You, fucker, I know it was you all along!"

Not only Jared surprised, but Jade and all of her men also couldn't believe on what they see.

"Hey, don't get that mad. As folks that came from the same country, we have to get along."

Ars took his sword from Jared's head.

Jared couldn't believe what Ars just said. "The same country you me-"

Ars punched Jared through the chest. Then threw the Black Hunter body down. 

Jade with her men startled with the scene. 

"Did you just, casually killed him?"

It was not the matter of killing the Black Hunter, but is how the man in front of them, the Greedy Young Master, did not show any guilty or felt burdened on that crime. 

Not answer that question, Ars first looking at the Devil Seed he digs from the madman's body. 

The Devil Seed looks literally like a nut. An Evil Nut covered in the filthiest dark mana. 

"Euw, yikes."

Ars disgusted holding the object.

Then he looks at the Black Hunter who laying down dead not far from their position.

"Hey, Nutman! Wake up or I'll kill you for real!"

Jade did not understand why the Greedy guy talks to the dead Black Hunter. Although he literally punched the Black Hunter guy to death and take the devil seed. 

"[Ten Sword – Blazing Claw]!"

The Greedy guy suddenly creates ten sword that all pointing at the Black Hunter guy. The ten red sword, floating as they burn in great flame. 

Jade with her men got startled once more. 

"You piece of shit!"

Then they heard the Black Hunter guy talks in angrily. 

They could not believe the Black Hunter guy is still alive at first. Because a Black Hunter only could handle one Devil Seed in their body. Imagine if there is one who could carry two in their body, something will definitely change in Abyssal Terra. And that change seems happening in their very eyes. 

"How did you know I have two of that seed in my body?!"

"Well, because I simply can see it."

"That's nonsense!"

The Black Hunter guy tried to stand up while his right hand put in his cloak. He definitely will do something. But for some reason, the Greedy guy looks like he won't do anything to stop the Black Hunter guy.

"Only that Horus kid who has the ability to see the location of the Devil Seed of Soul Saint followers!"

Ars got a little shock and excited at Jared's statement. 

"Ooh, so that kid ability is like [All-seeing Eyes] or some shit? That makes sense than of why he became the Player of Horus."

"What?"

Jared confused at Ars' statement. 

Meanwhile, Jade could not process a bit of anything the Greedy guy said at the time. Everything is just so mind blowing after his arrival. 

The Greedy Young Master, Ars, did not care of the trouble understanding of everyone around him.

He just standing in his position in great confidence. 

"Well, then this is your unlucky day because I'm here."

He actually been in Saint Arcane Cathedral for like 6 months in the time. 

"Just who the hell are you!?"

"Me?" Ars smirked. "Behold!" He begins to act like a chuunibyou. "For I am one of the Player! The Holder of Fafnir, the Red Dragon's Embodiment, who has the Eyes of the Dragon! The Master of Greedy Dragon Family! The Owner of Floor 1, Abyssal Terra! The one who will get the title, the Seventh -Hokage- Emperor! The one with the name, Greedy Young Master!"

All the surrounding people who see his performance became frozen. They between feeling amazed, cringe, and confused in seeing Ars' behavior just now.

Awakening from the shock, Jared burst out laughing.

"Buhaahahah!"

Ars laughed too. "Ahahahahahaahhaaa!"

Jade did not understand anymore. Somehow she also feels wanted to laugh with the two crazy guy. But one of them stopped laughing. 

The Black Hunter guy pointed his finger to the Greedy guy. 

The Greedy guy got a little shock. "Ooh, what's this? Are we playing Russian roulette?"

That is not and why the hell he thought they are going to play one?

"If your existence is real, then you are Soul Saint's biggest hitch."

Jared suddenly got really serious. Somehow that feels weird seeing a man who is always mad and crazy became so serious like that. 

"You talking about the prophecy? Don't easily trust on that kind of thing, man. Trust only to the ruler of fate, a God."

Jared grinning at that statement. "God is shit as well as his fate."

"No, I ain't shit, man."

"What?"

At Jared's question, Ars lifts his index finger. "Not a god whose job is only to see. But the kind of God who decides your destiny directly."

At Ars' order, his ten sword blazing even more greatly. 

"Plus, I only decide to end someone's fate whose get in my way to the Depth of this hell. That means, some shit like you."

Ars lowered his index finger. It happened as ten burning red swords shot down at Jared.

The ten red swords blew Jared's position in a violent explosion.

"Everyone, take cover behind me!"

Jade had to exert the strength of the Green Sky Shield to protect her party.

Meanwhile Ars just casually standing while being protected by [Three Scale – One Way Barrier]. He did not immediately leave the place because his target is not dead yet. Even though he had attacked the man with such great power.

Ars seemed to be underestimating the man's power, even though the man had lost one of his Devil Seed.

The wind wave from the explosion stopped. Only left thick smoke enveloping the vicinity of the explosion.josei

Then suddenly, a large horn sound heard. The source is from inside the smoke.

"He is not dead yet?!"

Jade shocked at the fact that the Black Hunter guy did not die even though he just got attacked by a 2500 point of Combat Power.

That horn sound heard by all the people in Land of Honor. 

Those who have defeated the Lizard King. Those who won the battle with Lord Albacore. Those who are inside the Cathedral, terrified. And those who can't do anything in the East District.

"IT'S ALL UP TO YOU, ARTHUR!"

Jared shouted his last message before he shoots a dark mana ball to his feet than run away from the scene. 

Ars as usual still stood still.

Jade felt an unpleasant sensation at the horn and the screams.

Just when they the rumbling has ended, something happens with the black sky. 

"What in the world happens to this land?"

From the sky, they could see hundreds of creatures flying out of the black clouds. 

They are Harpies. Their numbers greater than before. The scale of their appearance was wider, seeming to encompass both Shield City and Saint Arcane Cathedral.

As before, they all had bombs in their hands. 

Jade felt intense goosebumps at the sight.

"No, it's bad! There are so many people outside!"

There are more than 3000 hunters outside the city area. If all the bombs dropped, then all the Hunters outside will be affected by the explosions.

All the Hunters who realized that started running. Some ran to the city gates. Some ran further beyond the blast coverage area.

"What do we do, Boss?!"

Jade hesitated. They were too far from the western city gate. The eastern city gates were all closed for no apparent reason. Left with no choice, she had to use the power of the Green Sky Shield to protect them.

There she realizes that they are not alone. 

Jade looks at one person who stands not far from them. Then she glared at an unbelievable sight.

"Tch, I just broke you half a year ago and lost 100k of my money."

Ars talking to the Red Sky Spear. Stroked the weapon like his own child.

"But whatever. 100k is worth of a holy woman's pussy."

Then he launched the legendary spear to the sky. Piercing all things and stopped at dunno what height. 

After that, the sky that was originally pitch black turned bright red. It happened at the same time as the reddish thunder filled the clouds.

Before long, red lightning bolts fell from the sky, striking everything flying in the sky and raining down on the surface.
