Volume 4, Chapter 0: Summary

I don’t need any deep relationships. I have no desire for a girlfriend, and I only require one friend who holds any value to me. Absolutely no inefficiency allowed in my [youth], all of this in order to come out on top of the harsh race of value in life—this is the way that I, Ooboshi Akiteru, have lived my life so far, but there is a certain someone who constantly invades my room.

Kohinata Iroha. Neither little sister nor friend, even less of a potential lover, she is merely the little sister of a friend. This Kouhai is constantly annoying me with her noisy attitude, using every chance to make fun of me. However, there is one very important secret she harbors. That is the fact that she is actually a shadow member of the mysterious mobile game creator group [5th Floor Alliance].

Said [5th Floor Alliance] consists of me, the producer, the genius programmer OZ, or Kohinata Ozuma, the illustrator Murasaki Shikibu-sensei, or with her real name Kageishi Sumire, and the aspiring top writer of the light novel world, who weirdly enough agreed to assist us in our endeavour, acting as our scenario writer, Makigai Namako.

With our representative work [The Night The Black Goat Screamed], we managed to hit a balance of good horror gameplay with charming characters, something rarely seen on the market, giving us high popularity and overwhelmingly positive reviews.

With my comrades, who have overflowing talent, but are forced to give up on their dreams because of various reasons, I work towards the goal of getting employed under one of the biggest entertainment companies known, Honey Plays Works, and used the one single connection I had to them, namely my uncle and it’s resident Tsukinomori.

The condition for accepting my request was none other than becoming his daughter’s—Tsukinomori Mashiro’s fake boyfriend, and pull through with that act until we both graduate. In order to achieve that, falling in love was an absolute taboo.

For me, who had given up on love and youth, this wouldn’t be a big feat to achieve by any means, but for some reason, after Mashiro’s [Confession] and Sumire’s [Family reasons], I was wrapped up in these certain romcom events.

In the midst of that, I decided to grasp the weakness of the Kageishi Family’s head, who stood in the way of Sumire achieving her dream of becoming an illustrator, and turn things against him. Naturally, my comrades were working with me on this.

In the end, after being forced onto this so-called [Ceremony of Marriage] taking place in the Village Kageishi, which apparently has a surefire 100% possibility of getting the two participants to stay together for all eternity, we switched Sumire for Iroha at the actual ceremony.

Needless to say, we didn’t believe in such unlogical odds of this ceremony, but as soon as we arrived at the main location—

[Ain’t this just a love hotel?]

Having been guided to a small shrine, and basically pushed inside, urged to not leave this place for the rest of the night, we were greeted by a scenery you would only be able to witness by visiting a love hotel.

……………How do I get this situation under control?
