When the stream was nearing its end, everyone agreed to wait for Lola again the next day at the same time before sending her another wave of gifts. Apparently, she had completely overtaken all of the other streamers on the platform. Especially the previous top streamer who went by the same, Darlinglisa. She was livid when she noticed that all of her fans had flocked over to Lola's stream. She yelled, "What is wrong with them! What's so good about a completely new streamer!" All she could do was complain as there was nothing that she could do at the moment. Lola's stream had completely broken new records on the platform as her view count peaked at nearly a hundred million viewers. Those were actual viewers and no bots were paid to manipulate the data. Apparently, the agency had originally planned to send five or six people over to Lola's stream to cheer her up with some gifts, but they realized that they were not even needed because there were literally waves of gifts that were gifted by the viewers. She had made them more profit in two hours than any other streamers they signed on with.
This prompted the agency's owner to invest all of that stream's earnings back to Lola's next stream, but Skylar and his family paid no mind to all of that. That was because what mattered most to them was Lola's happiness.
Skylar had also read some of the comments to her as a bedtime story which made her laugh. So, she went to bed far later than usual.
After dropping Lola off at her kindergarten the next day, Skylar headed straight to Kareem Fashions with Yulia. However, not long after they were in their office, the new assistant entered and said, "Ms. Sue, a Mr. Lucas is here to see you."
"Mr. Lucas?" Yulia was stunned to hear that.
"Yeah, a man in his fifties. He was wearing a suit too." Her assistant answered politely.
An image flashed across Yulia's mind, but she felt uncertain, so she nodded and said, "Send him in."
"Will do, Ms. Sue," replied the assistant.
The assistant returned with a middle-aged man after two minutes.
Yulia was stunned as soon as she saw the man.That was because she was right. That man was none other than the man she met in front of her mother's grave, Geoffrey Lucas. She remembered him telling her to call him uncle if she was willing too, but he left after some small talk. So, his sudden appearance then was not as overwhelming to her. She did not expect him to show up unannounced that day. She noticed that he was smiling at her while she was stunned, but she still spoke first. "Is there anything I can help you with, Mr. Lucas?"
Geoffrey Smiled and said, "So it seems that you're still unwilling to call me uncle."
This made Yulia uncomfortable. She knew that she had no reason to call him uncle despite him being her mother's biological brother. Besides, he had always been absent in her life anyway. She had no memory of her mother's family. Moreover, she had Skylar's support then, so life was amazing to her already.
