CHAPTER 548 SIGHTSEEING IN THE CAPITAL

"It's done." Geoffery nodded but seemed somewhat confused at the moment.

"What's next then?"

Geoffery sighed and said, "We'll see when they arrive. How's Ben? Is he alright?"

"He's doing well," replied the man.

Geoffery nodded and remained silent after that. The man looked back and stared intently at Kareem Fashions.

Yulia resumed work after Geoffery left. When it was about time to pick Lola up from school, Skylar suggested to apply for a two week break from school so he could bring them to the capital the next day. Yulia agreed with his suggestion without hesitation. Apparently, Lola's kindergarten worked more like a fun preschool and not much academic knowledge would be imparted to the children. They mainly focused on games and handicrafts with the children. He knew that bringing her along to the capital earlier would allow her to have a much broader perspective about the world, so she would learn much more in that trip than she did in the kindergarten. Lola was ecstatic when Yulia told her that she would be taking a two week break from school to have fun in the capital. She was so excited that she swirled around with her dog.

"You'd get the dog bald if you don't let go, honey." Skylar teased.

"Huh? That can happen?" Lola let go immediately as she did not want a hairless dog. Since she could

no longer pet the dog, she leapt into Skylar's arms and asked, "Are there any fun places in the capital, daddy?"

After pondering for a brief moment, he replied, "There is a theme park there. If I remember correctly, there is also an aquarium there."

"Huh? What is an aquarium?" Lola was curious about what that place was.

"It's a place that houses a lot of different fish. There are whales, clownfish and all kinds of other fish." Skylar explained while patting her head.

"Whoa! I'd love to see that! I want to see a whale, daddy!" Lola's eyes glimmered excitedly.

"Sure! I'll do just that." Skylar gave her a kiss as he said that.

"Should I go stream now, daddy?" It seemed that Lola had made streaming a higher priority than Skylar.

Since Skylar noticed how much fun she was having, he carried her into the streaming room and informed the viewers that Lola would not be able to stream for a few days.

Skylar drove Yulia and Lola to the capital the following day.

After a four hour drive, they finally arrived at the Lucas family mansion. So, Skylar carried Lola in his arms while holding Yulia's hand as they walked toward the entrance. However, a bodyguard appeared when they approached the entrance. The bodyguard said, "What are you doing? How dare you intrude in the Lucas family mansion?"
