Book 2: Chapter 12 (6/12)

Kain said, “Iviss, appear.”

The knife that was attaching to Kain’s hip then transformed into a pink-hair woman, Iviss. Iviss knelt on the ground and asked, “What is your command, my lord?”

“Fight with that God-tier Warrior. Keep him busy until I finish chanting for my [Devil Anatomy] spell.”

“As you wish.”

Iviss took a quick look at her opponent before raising both of her hands and a full platinum armor appeared on her while her left-hand held a steel sword and her right-hand held a steel shield. Iviss raised the shield then sprint toward Flint using a very fast speed. Iviss then vanished and reappeared behind Flint attempting to attack him in the back using her sword. But before her sword could touch Flint, Iviss was shot over a hundred times by Flint’s Crossbow. josei

“Magic Crossbow? No wonder why he doesn’t carry any bolt holder quiver with him. Interesting... I didn't know God Warrior could use Magical Equipment.” Kain thought to himself as he saw magic bolts appear on Flint’s crossbow every time he shot it.

Iviss thought something like this would have happened that was why she immediately raised her shield to cover her full body which protected her from most of Flint’s crossbow before it was broken. Approximately fourteen crossbow bolts successfully penetrated Iviss’s platinum armor but weren’t enough to kill her. Iviss vanished again then reappeared at the original location.

Iviss touched her platinum armor and thought to herself, “God-tier Warrior is so scary. I must be more careful.” She raised her left hand again and another steel shield appeared on her hand.

A voice called out to her, “That is enough. You can transform back to a knife now.”

Iviss didn't recognize that voice at first because it was much deeper compared to Kain's normal voice. She turned around and saw Kain's black hair turned into silver-hair and he had two horns grow out on his head. Iviss was killed by Kain in their combat of physical strength and she didn't have a chance to witness Kain's transformation. Remembering Kain mentioned the [Devil Anatomy] spell, Iviss understood that Kain had casted that spell to transform himself into a Devil. To be exact, it wasn’t just Kain, but Thirteen Gates of Hell Realm had opened as the Demon Lords and their millions of demons were still walking through the gates. Iviss sighed in relief knowing she had completed the quest Kain had given him. She then transformed back into the knife and flew back into the holster on Kain’s hip.

Kain gave out the command, “Demon Lords, order your demon armies to attack that God-tier Warrior while y’all stay by my side waiting to attack together with me.”

After sending their demon armies to fight with Flint, the Demon Lords stay near Kain as instructed. Kain gave out another command, "Kimaris, I command you to have Ursula appear in her human form to help you increase your defense using Earth Magic. Our opponent is a God Warrior and I can't keep my Devil form activated for too long due to no Magical Blood Equipment being allowed."

After hearing Kimaris agreed to use Ursula, Kain was about to give out another command but Flint suddenly shot over a thousand bolts toward him. Chemosh reacted on time by casting [Earthen Aegis], a Saint-tier Earth Magic spell he had created to block those thousand magic crossbow bolts by creating a giant flying shield made out of magic cobblestone in front of Kain. This giant flying shield will follow and protect any target its caster commanded. Even if Chemosh didn’t cast the [Earthen Aegis] spell, Kain could easily block those magic bolts using his Devil Wings. Despite that, Kain was happy to know that the Demon Lords were willing to protect him from harm despite that he isn’t a real Devil. This was the first time Kain opened Hell Gates using the power of a Devil, he didn’t know what to expect out of those Demon Lords.

Flint was once again being kept busy by the sea of demon armies attacking him from all directions. Kain took this short period of time to quickly give out instructions, “Chemosh, you will protect Tuchulcha. Aarna, you will protect Phenex. Tuchulcha and Phenex, your job is to conjure as many powerful creatures as possible but don't command them to attack that God-tier Warrior yet and must wait for my signal. Amdusias, you are the only healer among the Demon Lords. Your job will be healing me and other Demon Lords, as well as casting [Mana Regeneration] spells repeatedly on me and yourself. If any Demon Lord dies, you must revive them immediately to prevent them from being teleported back to Hell Realm. Sizouze, Sarsio, and Belial, your job will be protecting Amdusias. She is our only healer, protecting her at all costs. Crocell, Eligos, Dialen, Focalor, and Kimaris will attack the God Warrior together with me. Kimaris, don't forget to have Ursula use her Earth Magic on you. Remember to go all out at the very beginning because I don’t have enough mana and blood pools to maintain this Devil form for too long.”

Kain once again looked at all the Demon Lords as each of them confirmed that they have understood either through nodding or voice replied. Kain didn't want to create a fiery battle-ax because he wanted to regenerate his mana pool using the twelve small Mana Stones embedded on his Magical Diamond Ice Spear. That was why he decided to create an Ice Shield and use his Ice Spear for this battle instead. The Ice Shield can freeze the magic crossbow bolts to slow them down and then break them easier once they hit the shield. If Kain’s calculation was correct, he could maintain his Devil form for at least six hours thanks to his eight blood pools, and active casting [Mana Regeneration] spells from Amdusias, as well as auto mana regeneration from Ice Spear's twelve small Mana Stones.

Because Kain instructed him to go all out at the very beginning, Kimaris transformed into his demon form, created a pair of fire gauntlets on his hands, then turned and told Ursula using a warm voice, “Just focus on defending yourself. You can support me using Earth Magic when needed but don’t attack him. I don’t want you to be broken. Staying away from you for twenty-four hours will be too much for me to endure.”

Ursula warmly said, “Yes, my Lord.”

Dialen doesn’t have wings, but she casted the [Demon Anatomy V] spell to transform into a flying demon wearing full platinum armor while having a fiery aura. Focalor doesn’t have wings either, but he could fly because Belial casted [Wind Walk] spell on him.

Kain opened the palm of his right hand and the Ice Spear quickly flew into it. Kain shouted, “Attack!” then flexed his Devil Wings and flew toward Flint Duril together with Crocell, Eligos, Dialen, Focalor, and Kimaris. Kain thought to himself, “I have heard the incredible power of a God-tier Warrior. If it’s one versus one, I may not be able to defeat him using just my Devil form. But since I have opened the Hell Gates, there is no way I will lose this battle. God-tier or not, you will lose!”
