Lien transformed into a lightning spear again and flew after Noe Clerico before changing back into a human form as she apologized to him, "Master Clerico, sorry I'm late. Now that I am here, those scums won’t be able to touch you anymore."

“Scums? Haha…” Noe laughed out loud when he heard Lien refer to Kimaris and Ursula as scums.

Stopped laughing, Noe smiled, pointed his right index finger at Kimaris, and asked, "Do you know who he is?"

"Demon Lord of the Thirteenth Gate. I saw he commanded a Demon General earlier."

“Uhm… What about that lady?” Noe asked while pointing at Ursula. josei

"Pardon my ignorance, I don't know who she is."

"Neither do I. I saw her transform from the scythe he was using earlier. If I'm correct, perhaps she is his Soul Weapon. Lien, are you confident that you can beat both of them?"

"At your command, I shall defeat them both."

"Good. Defeat them without dying more than three times, that's the mission I have for you today."

"Understood."

Lien raised both hands and began to cast one of the Warlock Magic spells. Ursula could feel Lien was chanting for an offensive spell and whispered to Kimaris, "My Lord, do you want me to defeat her by myself while you continue to attack the Necromancer?"

Kimaris shook his head, turned, and looked Ursula in the eye as he warmly replied, “I've never fought a Warlock before. I feel this Warlock Warrior is much weaker than the Summoner Warrior I fought earlier, but I could be wrong. Leaving you alone facing an opponent having unknown strength and power is not something I enjoy doing. Ursula, we will defeat this Warlock together. "

"As you wish, my Lord."

Lien slammed both of her hands on the ground and created two big holes on the ground. Both Kimaris and Ursula didn't know what type of spell Lien was casting, but they knew the ground wasn't safe anymore. That was why Kimaris carried Ursula and flew up fifty feet above the ground to observe. Just like what they have suspected, two giant ice spikes pierced from the ground up at the locations where Kimaris and Ursula were standing. Not stopping there, two giant ice spikes suddenly broke into a hundred thousand tiny ice spikes and flew toward Kimaris and Ursula. Kimaris's left hand was carrying Ursula, his right hand quickly created a giant fire shield to block all the tiny ice spikes that were flying toward them.

Lien used the opportunity of Kimaris being busy to defend against her ice spikes. She transformed into a lightning spear and flew toward them while chanting for her next Warlock Magic spell. However, Ursula had already prepared for this and Lien couldn't get any closer to Kimaris. Ursula already casted twenty [Earthen Hawk] spells to create twenty Earthen Hawks. The Earthen Hawks immediately surrounded Lien and casted [Earth Blast] spells toward her. Lien was forced to change back into her humanoid form and fell into the ground while using the shield on her left hand to cover her head blocking the [Earth Blast] spells from crashing onto her head.

Lien looked up and saw Kimaris was still blocking the tiny ice spikes using his fire shield. She then turned to look at Ursula and thought, "She is an Earth Mage. Despite not being able to fly and have to be carried by the Demon Lord, her reaction toward my battle strategy is sharper than I expected.”

Finished thinking that, Lien used the sword on her right hand and slash into the air repeatedly, created over a hundred half-moon flame slashes that flew toward Ursula who was being carried by Kimaris. Lien thought, “Just because I am far away, doesn’t mean that I can’t strike you. Let’s see how you will handle my [Flaming Slashes] ability.”

While Kimaris and Ursula were busy focusing their fight against Lien, Noe Clerico had conjured ten unique creatures that Kain had never seen before. Noe looked into Kain’s eyes, smirked, and asked, “You don't have to worry much, those creatures already reached Eleventh Stage Saint Warrior in physical strength, which meant their battle experience can't be overlooked. Do you want to see more creatures?”

Kain carefully observed the ten creatures Noe just conjured then asked, “I don't have to worry much huh. Or did you mean that I don't have to worry about them at all? Those ten creatures won't be able to cause me any amusement, conjure some more.”

“Haha... I do have more creatures. And they are ready to amuse you.”

“Is that so? I'm ready for the amusement. Feel free to conjure them all. The more the merrier.”

“Very well then.”

Noe didn't want to conjure more creatures, because it cost him too much mana keeping his Magical Resistance rate up using [Magic Mantras] ability each time he has to override Kain's [Magic Annulment] spell to conjure a creature. But the battle between Kain and Noe wasn't just about power, but willpower as well. If Noe can maintain his confidence by continuously conjuring his creatures tricking Kain into believing using [Magic Annulment] spell is useless, then it would benefit Noe in the long battle since it is disturbing to be not able to use [Unlimited Life] spells at all times.

Kain thought to himself, "My [Magic Annulment] spell is still active and quickly draining the blood pools of my Blood Equipment. Noe Clerico must have also sacrificed a large chunk of his mana pool to raise his Magical Resistance rate to be able to overpower my [Magic Annulment] so he could cast his Conjuration Magic. I'm not sure how long he can keep it up but sooner or later he will have to stop raising his Magical Resistance rate to reserve his mana pool. After he finishes conjuring all the unique creatures that he has, I will then taunt him to send them to attack me. My [Time Slow] spell will be able to hold them back without sacrificing too much blood to heal myself while Finwe assassinates him. Even when I can't use my physical strength or cast any other magic while [Time Slow] is activated, halting more than a hundred powerful creatures at the same time shouldn't be a problem."

Noe was about to conjure more creatures but then he suddenly remembered, “Kain told his Evolved Thunder Eagle to go assist Kimaris in fighting against my minions. But isn't Kain told me that he conjured Imreia, Furcas, Fyre, Aerlix, and fifteen Wind Walkers to replace Kimaris in fighting against Yrsut, Ermina, Agnes, Conrad, and Lysander. Kimaris is here now, so where is the Evolved Thunder Eagle?”

Noe quickly scanned through the entire battlefield but couldn’t find Finwe, he continued to think, “Such a sneaky bastard. If I'm not wrong, then you must have your Evolved Thunder Eagle shifted into his invisible mode again trying to find a good chance to kill me. Fine then, I will pretend to fall for your trick to give you some happiness. Ah, maybe it’s time I use [Substitution] spell. I can't keep this great spell a secret forever.”
