Twin Soul

Book 3

Book 3: Chapter 4 (1/8)

In the higher realms, Watcher Tykan and Watcher Zorim were having a meal together when Kain was trying to kill Noe.

After sipping the cup of tea, Zorim said, “As I have spoken, I won’t lose that planet to you. Sadly, you wasted two Tykan Eyes and lost part of your power for nothing.”

Taking a bite from the food Zorim cooked for him, Tykan said, “My power can always be regenerated, all I need is just time. Being a Watcher, time is the thing I don’t care for.”

“First, you controlled Vierna Pharm and made her nearly destroy Toria Continents. Because of that, I chose to send the Demi-Humans from another planet to Toria Continents to prevent incidents like that from happening again. Because Demi-Humans can’t use magic, there will be no way you can possess their body. More importantly, the Blood Mages won’t be able to gather their blood to continue the fight since only human blood can be used in Blood Magic. To counter that move, you forced Kain Bersk to take over the Dryardian Empire making the Demi-Humans work for him. I gotta say, that wasn’t a bad plan but not a good one either. Nevertheless, I can foresee all of your future moves. How many more times will you fail before giving up on that planet? You were too focused on taking Toria Continents from me while leaving other planets vulnerable.”

“I have prepared backup plans for other planets. You won’t be able to destroy them. You should be happy that I didn't want to make the same mistake I have made with Vierna by forcing Kain to destroy the entire population of Toria Continents. I will just win that planet from you after no one on that planet knows who Watcher Zorim is anymore. Kain Bersk will force the human race of Toria Continents to destroy all of your statues and build my statues instead. Sooner or later, the Creator will take that planet away from you and grant it to me.”

“Ever since Vierna caused chaos in Toria Continents, I have made sure something like that wouldn’t happen again. Like I have said, you won't win. I always have a backup plan.” josei

“You kept speaking of the backup plan. Is Noe Clerico your backup plan? I’m confident that Kain will defeat him. Even if he can’t, Noe couldn’t kill him either.”

“That is why you are wrong. Not only Noe will defeat Kain but will kill and make him into one of his minions. But for whatever reason that caused Noe to lose or the Creator override my authority to choose him to be the next God-tier, then I still have a plan B to make sure you wouldn’t succeed.”

“Enough bluffing, You have nothing. Haha…”

“Just you wait and see.” Watcher Zorim started eating again after she said that.

A little over two hundred years ago. Kain Bersk was still busy in the Timeless Dungeon of Toria Continents. Due to receiving help from the Rogue Mages and the Blood Mages Guild, the Dryardian Empire had repeatedly launched full-scale invasions against other nations to the South.

In another planet of the same realm. Byham Continents, home of the Demi-Humans. Byham Continents is a planet that is smaller compared to Toria Continents but still big if compared to most of the planets in the lower realms. There was only one male human in Byham Continents who had no idea where he was and how he got there. The man carefully explores Byham Continents with his conjured creatures hoping to find a way back to his home planet from this unknown planet while slowly regaining his lost memories.

After three days exploring that planet, the man remembered what happened and thought to himself, “After completing the third Magical Dungeon opened by the Holy Mage, Adela and I were supposed to be teleported back to Toria Continents. But a black hole appeared and strongly sucked Adela into it. I sacrificed myself by conjuring a Wind Walker and commanded it to save Adela instead of me thinking I will die. Looks like that black hole wasn’t intent on killing either of us but was just transporting us from that Magical Dungeon into another planet. If I’m not mistaken, this must be Byham Continents since everyone I have seen so far was Demi-Humans. There must be a way to get back to Toria Continents, I just have to find it.” That man was Arthur Castillon.

Suddenly an earthquake appeared but the Wind Walker casted [Wind Walk] spell on time to help Arthur fly to avoid getting injured. After the earthquake was over, a gate could be seen from far away. Together with his Wind Walker, Arthur flew toward the gate and then asked himself, “A Magical Dungeon? Didn’t I just finish one in Toria Continents? Hmm, it has difficulty rated eight. I’m already at Saint-tier so that Magical Dungeon would be too easy for me.”

After careful consideration about it, Arthur decided to walk inside the Magical Dungeon while thinking, “I will raid it then. If the final reward is several Advancement Potions with the success chance of twenty percent to help level 50 Legend Mages to advance into level 51 Saint Mages, then I can give them to Lord Clerico so he can pass it down to other members in exchange for an LYAUR that can hold a Magical Creature that has physical strength comparable to an Eleventh Stage Saint Warrior or magical power on par with a level 100 magic caster. I may not be strong enough to use it now. But with my talent, reaching level 100 from my current level 55 wouldn't take more than a million years.”

After flying inside the pure darkness of the Magical Dungeon for over thirty minutes, Arthur saw a bright light coming from ahead. He and his Wind Walker rushed toward that direction and arrived in a small room. Inside that room, Arthur saw a little boy was playing with toys on a table nearby.

The boy turned to look at him, and confusedly asked, “Arthur Castillon? Why are you here? Where is Adela Hindergrass?”

Hearing that question, Arthur could guess this boy has something to do with the black hole that was sucking Adela in. Arthur asked, “Are you the one that created the black hole in the other Magical Dungeon?”

“Not I, but someone much more powerful. You weren’t chosen, but here you are. Arthur Castillon, I have been waiting for Adela Hindergrass. But because you are here, perhaps it's fate. My name is Agivin, and I am the Guardian of this Timeless Dungeon.”

“Timeless Dungeon?” Arthur asked as he had never heard about it before.

“Correct. Adela has been chosen by Watcher Zorim herself to participate in this Timeless Dungeon of Byham Continents. There will be ten stages total for this Timeless Dungeon. Even though you weren't chosen, you still walked into this Magical Dungeon. Because of that, you are allowed to participate. Arthur, are you ready to start raiding this Timeless Dungeon?”

“Wait. Ten stages? Normal Magical Dungeons only has five stages.”

“Some Timeless Dungeons even have a maximum of fifteen stages. Unlike regular Magical Dungeons, Timeless Dungeon…”

Agivin explained to Arthur how the Timeless Dungeon works just like Iris explained to Kain. After the explanation was over, Agivin asked, “Are you ready to start?”

Arthur was too excited to hear what could be the final rewards, he immediately answered loudly, “Yes!”

“Very well. Please close your eyes and I will transport you to the First Stage.”
