Taylor went back to his office and sat down, “Let me see it.”

“Let me see it.” Taylor frowned, and he was taken aback as he read the first line of the report. “Is this about me and Clara?”

The secretary nodded, Yes. The report says they spotted Clara at the cornpany that day, and you were also called over by Mr. Quintin.”

“So Clara was at that company that day too!”

“Mr. Taylor, I find this a bit strange. The secretary paused, then continued, “I remember that day you and Mr. Quintin were only scheduled to discuss collaboration matters, but Mr. Quintin suddenly took you to that company I remember you even emphasized to Mr. Quintin your concerns about potential scandals, and he assured no one would take photos. “Are you questioning my decision?” Taylor asked.

The secretary nodded and as they reached the door, asked, “Mr. Taylor, the media is still waiting for our response.”

“I’ll let you know after I’ve met Clara. Have the media wait a few days, I’ll compensate for any losses.”

“Got it.”

After the secretary left, Taylor looked at Clara’s picture in the report and started feeling a headache coming on.

He quickly massaged his temples and felt a bit better.
