“Always talking about property. I swear you’re paranoid or something?” Patrick shook his head and walked away, any previous pity already forgotten. Sometimes, he just didn’t get it. Why did his wife have to act like this?

Now Aiden and Alex were missing, and she still didn’t get it!
After her husband left, Sophia pulled out her phone and dialed Leah, “Any news on your end?”
“Still can’t find the kids! I’m looking/near the Melendez family’s place.”
“Let me meet up with you then. Send me the address.”

Sophia quickly changed her clothes, grabbed her bag, and headed out. She thought it wouldn’t take long, but it was quite a while before she finally caught sight of Leah.
Leah was a mess, her clothes dirty and her appearance disheveled.
Seeing Leah in this state, Sophia was even more certain she was right. This was how a mother should look!

Sophia patted Leah’s shoulder, “Everything we’re doing is for Aiden and Alex’s good. Don’t doubt yourself! I know you’re kind-hearted; I’m a mother, too. get your pain!
“Uh huh… I’ll do anything to find them!”
“That’s why I need to get you into the Melendez family. Replacing Clara isn’t just for you. It’s also for my grandchildren. They need their real mom to feel the warmth. Even if Clara doesn’t mean to harm them, she can’t give them complete love”
Leah nodded, “If I can be with the kids, I’ll do as you say.”
Sophia nodded satisfactorily, “Ever since I first met you, I felt a connection. To think you’re actually Aiden and Alex’s birth mom, it’s like fate!”
