Chapter 153: Refund, Refund!

At this moment, the screen showed Bai Song's face, filled with excitement, as he stared at Red Archer's buttocks and rubbed his hands together, practically drooling with anticipation.

"Haha! Just two hits, and mongrel contestant number two is already defeated! Pathetic~! Hahaha!" Gill laughed heartily, thoroughly enjoying the spectacle.

Although this wasn't the Holy Grail War he had expected, he was having fun. As Fuyuki City's self-proclaimed number one jester, seeing Red Archer in such a pitiful state brought him genuine joy.

Gill was so overjoyed that he could pass for a 68-kilogram child.

"Let's congratulate mongrel contestant number one for securing the first victory in this Holy Grail Big Chicken Battle!" Gill announced with glee.

As he finished his words, a golden-haired, blue-eyed girl carrying a microphone made of 24k pure gold, accompanied by a cameraman, arrived beneath one of the large screens. She was the battlefield reporter for this Holy Grail Big Battle.

She was dressed in a white and red Japanese gymnastics outfit, with a red headband on her forehead that read "EUO Special Correspondent." The cameraman, a blue-haired man donning Roman-style golden armor, had a twitching mouth, giving off an unsettling vibe.

The golden-haired girl brushed her hair aside and adjusted her appearance, then stood in front of the camera with a smile that bordered on arrogance, and confidently introduced herself, "Um, I am the frontline reporter for this Holy Grail Big Battle."

"Now we are here at the center of the paradise, waiting for the score settlement, along with the spectators behind me. Everyone is waiting for the scores to be finalized."

"The battle between the two mongrels has already come to an end, and unfortunately, it didn't result in a satisfying outcome for everyone."

Taking a breath after her lengthy explanation, the golden-haired girl changed her tone and continued her commentary, looking into the camera, "However, our audience, who make up three-quarters of the supporters in the 'EUO Super Deluxe Seaside Paradise' center plaza, stood by and supported mongrel contestant number two. They stuck with him despite the odds, and he had the most wagers on his side."

"And now, it's the final moment!"

After saying this, the golden-haired girl handed the microphone to C Chulainn, an ordinary passerby who was watching the broadcast.

"Did we live up to your expectations?" C Chulainn suddenly went from a face of sorrow to one of indignation, shouting angrily, "You suck, I want refund!!!" Even though he didn't know what he was saying, he felt that it was the "common sense" Chaldea's summoning system had given him.

After shouting these words, C Chulainn noticed a golden-haired girl holding a microphone near his mouth. Instantly, his angry expression was replaced by confusion. Fortunately, the camera was focused on him, and the girl's expression wasn't captured on screen.

C Chulainn nervously glanced around, feeling like a child who had been scolded by a dog, although he usually suffered from severe social anxiety.

"While I understand everyone's feelings, I still want to ask you a few questions. I'd like to ask the audience here: what do you think..." However, before C Chulainn could think of a way to salvage the situation, another indignant man intervened.

Without waiting for the golden-haired girl to finish speaking, he leaned in next to the microphone and exclaimed, "I'm so disappointed! I'm furious!" In his hand was a free admission voucher with a perfectly clear zero points displayed.

Not only him, but C Chulainn, who was hesitant in front of the camera but bold behind it, had also lost all of his points.

Looking at their scores, it was evident that they had both been extremely confident that Red Archer would win, wagering all their points on him before the battle.

Upon hearing that the second interviewee was also in the same situation, the golden-haired girl quickly took back the microphone. She couldn't have this broadcasted on television.

She then attempted to interview a third person nearby, but as soon as she approached him with the microphone, she pulled it back immediately. It turned out that the third interviewee was eager to speak, saying, "I think..." but the free admission voucher he held also displayed a zero.

Realizing that there wouldn't be anyone left with points to celebrate Red Archer's victory, the golden-haired girl promptly decided to end the interviews.

This is a seaside amusement park, my dear audience. If all the interviews are filled with foul language, it really can't be aired!

"I can see that everyone's attitude towards this match is not entirely satisfactory, but it's still a 9.5 out of 10 satisfaction level," the golden-haired girl said, with a hint of sincerity.

After a brief pause, she continued, "Hmm, so this interview ends here. Please look forward to the second battle of the Holy Grail War. Once again, I, will conduct the most professional on-site interview"

Listening to the girl's seemingly nonsensical speech, the third interviewee, who was eager to criticize Red Archer on camera, was left bewildered with question marks floating above his head. He could tell that the girl's physical attributes were well-developed, but he wondered if the same could be said for her brain.

As soon as the girl finished her speech, the cameraman, dressed in a golden Roman-style armor and carrying the camera, promptly pressed the stop recording button. He followed the golden-haired girl and quickly made their exit.

"Senpai... By the way, that girl should be Nero-san, right?" Mashu asked Gudako, uncertain.

"Yes, yes, you're right," Gudako replied half-heartedly. Her entire attention was focused on the admission vouchers she held in her hand, almost turning her eyes into the shape of points.

Just by consuming Chaldea's chef, they earned a whopping 250 points. This move was truly profitable, a real bloodbath!
