After a while, a bald man came rushing in. He looked terribly anxious as he apologized to Theodore, “I’m sorry, Mr. Anderson. It’s our fault. I've found the boys who pushed the both of you. Do you want to call them in?”
The bald man was in charge of the camp. He was shocked when he heard that Theodore had an accident on his grounds. Theodore glanced at him and answered, “Sure.”
The bald man soon brought in the two boys. They looked about seven or eight, and they were the ones who accidentally pushed Ariana and Theodore down the slope.
When their parents saw Theodore, they felt intimidated and didn’t dare to say anything that might offend him. Instead, they repeatedly urged their children to apologize.
Theodore glanced over at Ariana, who was sitting quietly in the comer. Seeing that she had her head down, he could tell that she was absent-minded.

After some negotiation, Theodore got Horace to take Alina back to the car. Although he was satisfied with the date, he didn’t want to sleep in the camp because the bedding was too hard. So they returned.
