Chapter 352: 203 Start Working—2

“If he can set a trap, then we can blast through his trap!”

“Are you in or not? If you’re not, then I’ll go it alone!”

“Hold on, can’t you stay calm? We’re not debating whether to do it or not, but how to do it!”

“There’s nothing to discuss, do you know what preparations Bruce Hodge has made?

We don’t have much intel, and he’s not given us much time. What else can we

do?

We have to storm forwards!”

“Can’t we find another way to make Hodge hesitate, give up Anthony?”

Donald Morgan furrowed his brows, weary.

But as soon as he made this suggestion, it was immediately rejected by Old Eight and Old Three.

“It won’t work!”

They didn’t just reject the idea. They had given it a lot of thought.

“We could manipulate Hodge in a few ways. Either we make his superiors pressure him, we strike at him from below, targeting his base, or we strike at the Abyss.

But can we execute any of these strategies?

We don’t have the capability to influence his superiors.

And if we go for the humans, or try and destroy the entrance to the Abyss, not counting whether he’d care or not, we can’t even justify it to ourselves.

Even if we did, after rescuing Anthony, we’d be the ones in trouble .”

“Hence, we only have one option left. Rally all the forces we can and save him by brute force!”

Hearing this, Donald Morgan sighed deeply but said nothing.

This was the Dawn Organization’s way. Living in darkness, yet all actions must be taken uprightly.

Donald’s not saying that acting uprightly is bad, but considering their current disadvantageous state, he felt they needed to be more flexible in their methods.

But he has no say in Dawn.

“Fine, when will we make a move?”

“Old Three said: “The sooner, the better!

The more we wait, the tighter their defenses get, the harder it is for us!

Also, what about Dean McKenzie?

Didn’t he say, as long as his salary is right, he can even defeat gods?

Where is he?”

“He’s already on his way, but his situation isn’t looking good. He just had a clash with the Hunting Church. He won, but got seriously injured.”

Hearing the news, Old Eight chimed in, “He’s a tough guy who rushes forward as soon as he hears the news even though he’s injured. I like him. Thirteen, I have a Seven-turn Epic level potion here, send it to him!”

“Alright, I too have a healing item, send it to him.

Try to get him to heal his injuries before he gets to Thorn Oak City. If he joins us in our mission, it’s an added strength, and plus, he won’t have to go on his own and risk his life.”

“Alright!”

“Then it’s settled. Thirteen will deliver the potions to Dean. The rest of us will meet in Thorn Oak City in three days!”

With that, the Dawn’s online meeting ended.

Meanwhile, Donald Morgan immediately contacted Dean McKenzie through a token passed on before.

“Dean, where are you?”

“In the sky!”

Dean McKenzie, who was in the middle of a flight, gave a brief introduction.

While speaking, he spat out a mouthful of blood.

His face was ghostly white as he was flying in the sky.

He had to admit that he underestimated the arrow from the Mark of the Hunting God.

The wounds from the arrow were gradually taking effect, escalating his injuries.

Although Dean McKenzie had already taken quite a few potions, and even used Physique Enhancement after it cooled down, he still couldn’t get nd of the injury.

The main issue was the extremely high-quality energy left inside Dean McKenzie’s body by his opponent.

The energy was so powerful that Dean even suspected it was divine power. Despite not understanding how his opponent at a six-turn level could produce such divine power, Dean tasted the bitter repercussions of being obnoxious in the face of God after the battle.

Dean estimated that it would take him a year or so to solve this problem by slowly eroding it with Physique Enhancement.

Fortunately, this issue didn’t hinder his battle strength.

“Is there anything you need?”

“It’s about your injuries, we have medicine…”

“If it’s about medicine, no need. But corpses would be useful. Should you feel inclined, provide me with some corpses with the Extraordinary Template. Of course, corpses with the Legendary Template would be even better!” Dean’s request startled Donald Morgan, but remembering McKenzie’s profession as a Necromancer, it didn’t seem too bizarre.

“Alright, I’ll prepare the corpses for you. Where should we meet?

“In Summer City. Do your people have a base here?”

“Yes, I’ll send you our location.”

“Good, see you in Summer City.”

After hanging up with Donald Morgan, Dean was in high spirits. After all, as he continued on his journey, corpses with the Extraordinary Template were delivered straight to him. How could he not be pleased?

“If I elevate my Physique to the Extraordinary Template, it should alleviate my injuries to a certain extent.

If I could rise to the Legendary Template, perhaps I could heal all at once. But, they probably aren’t capable of providing me with corpses of the Legendary Template.

However, it’s always good to have expectations. What if they truly deliver?” Subsequently, Dean arrived at the seaside near Summer City in Atlanta within a day.

He was only about a thousand miles away from Thorn Oak City.

However, Dean was not planning to press on.

Although he came to rescue someone, Dean had never planned to march into Thorn Oak City on his own.

Kidding aside, he’s a Necromancer, commanding a vast Wraith Army with powerful Wraith Servants. Why would he need to personally rescue anyone? Moreover, Dean had tested it before – at the seven-turn level, his skeleton could get about fifteen hundred miles away from him.

That is, while Dean was at the seaside, his skeleton could reach Thorn Oak City. Dean himself was seriously injured anyway, there was no need for him to go into the battlefield. Even though Dean himself didn’t plan on going, he did intend to send Doggy Two and the others all over.

Thus, it could be said that Dean had pretty much deployed his strongest forces. If Doggy Two and the others couldn’t handle it, adding Dean to the mix wouldn’t help either—it would only add one more corpse!

On the other hand, it was a different story for Dean at the seaside— if he couldn’t win, he could still run.

He had a Dragon Palace Sub-copy Token in his hand. If he really couldn’t win, he could easily escape to either the Dragon Palace or Goblin Uprising Instance. As long as he got away, he could find a way to get back to it eventually.

Dean didn’t want to waste his life trying to save someone else, only to end up losing his own.

After landing, Dean first sent Old Eight to the Dawn Organization’s base in Summer City.

When Old Eight arrived, Donald Morgan hadn’t arrived yet.

But he had already arranged for the corpses that Dean wanted to be placed at the Summer City base via the Dawn Organization’s channels.

Old Eight made a single trip and successfully brought back fourteen bodies for Dean.

Unexpectedly, two of the fifteen bodies were of the Legendary Template, and the remaining twelve were all of the Extraordinary Template without exception.

This caught Dean by surprise. He hadn’t expected the Dawn Organization to have such deep roots that they could produce two corpses with the Legendary Template.

“It’s a shame, only two. I still need one more.

But since they are free gifts, this is already quite a treat!

As a person with principle who takes things for free, Dean would never to the point of taking things for free and still insult people.

After sincerely praising the Dawn Organization, Dean resurrected and killed the twelve bodies with the Extraordinary Template, turning them into four Extraordinary Templates and applied them to himself.
