Undying Warlord

Chapter 667 Destroying A Divinity

Chapter 667 Destroying A Divinity

'So much essence!'

Dilan was quite astonished about the amount of mana that flooded his body. It was much more than he expected, and it made his body burst several times.

Fortunately, he was in possession of the True Undying Essence and the Perfect Essence Cultivation technique!

He thought that the Sun God's Essence Crystal wouldn't be enough to fill his entire Essence Crystal but after a few hours had passed the Tier-6 Essence Crystal crumbled and Dilan had reached the peak of the fourth Tier.

He had been much faster than expected, and he was not yet done increasing his strength. In fact, he had just started!

Now that Dilan finished the appetizer, it was about time to move on.

With that thought, his eyes moved to the Sun Divinity Staff and the compressed Sun that was calmly stored in the crimson metal.

It was time for the main dish!

Dilan grasped the Sun Divinity Staff with both hands after he got up from the ground. His eyes were gleaming brightly and he licked his dry lips.

Taking a look around the eternal darkness in the space that seemed infinite, yet, nonexistent, Dilan couldn't help but feel like shuddering once.

"I really hope that his place is as durable as the Great Wise promised…" He murmured as he started to release mana inside the Sun Divinity Staff.

After losing its soul bound master, the Sun Divinity Staff had become an abandoned Divinity. Abandoned Divinities were Divinities that had either been abandoned by their master and thus replaced, or their master died, resulting in their soul link being cut off.

Abandoned Divinities didn't have any connection with any being, and their sentients were always looking for a new master.

However, it was not easy for a sealed faux Divinity to use its restricted sentience, let alone to actively search for a new master, someone who was compatible enough with something as grotesque as the Sun Divinity Staff!

Dilan possessed a certain degree of compatibility with the Sun Divinity Staff but it was not enough to become the sealed faux Divinity's new master.

Fortunately, that was not something he had planned, to begin with.

His mission was something different. He kept inserting his dense and pure mana inside the staff while converting his Life force into more Mana. At the same time, his Life force was being replenished with the use of the True Undying Essence.

Dilan multi-tasked to make sure that none of the procedures would be neglected and he ended up spending more than 10 hours standing around in the eternal darkness.

The sentience of the Sun Divinity Staff was thankful for the mana, at first. However, when the amount of mana that had entered its body crossed a certain threshold, it noticed that something was off.

Dilan's mana came in contact with all seals that had been put on the Sun Divinity, and it filled the entire crimson metal staff to the brim.

Until now, the crimson wand had never been completely filled with mana. The Sun God hadn't been strong enough to make this possible because he always used the power of the Sun Divinity Staff rather than returning something.

However, Dilan didn't fill the Sun Divinity Staff with mana because he was nice. On the contrary, what he was about to do was nothing but pure cruelty!

"I will finally set you free…and let you become part of something…someone, who will even survive when the Universe perishes. You will never cease to exist, burning star!" Dilan spoke loud and clearly as he inserted the last droplet of mana inside the Sun Divinity Staff to fill it without a single millimeter void of Dilan's mana.

The last droplet, however, was different from the rest. It was altered just like the rest of the mana that had entered the Sun Divinity Staff.

Instead of forming a huge mass of mana that glued together thanks to the alteration Dilan made with the use of the Ring of Infinite Elements constitution, the last droplet was a spark. It was a compressed mass of the purest Power of Destruction that Dilan had ever formed…and it forcefully created a coalescence with the mass of mana, turning it into one big chunk of Mana that further empowered and amplified the compressed Power of Destruction that Dilan had inserted in the staff.

The sentience of the sealed faux Divinity noticed it too late because it was already over before it could even react.

With a snap, the Power of Destruction within the Sun Divinity Staff was unleashed.

Nothing happened at first. The surrounding eternal darkness was silent just like it had been the entire time, but something had changed.

The Power of Destruction Spread through the Sun Divinity Staff, not leaving a single inch out and its might was unleashed. The Power of Destruction wanted to force its way outside and everything in its way would be destroyed without mercy.

Dilan stared at the exterior of the Sun Divinity Staff and a bright smile blossomed on his face. A tiny crack appeared in the center of the Sun Divinity Staff.

More cracks formed all over the crimson staff, they expanded rapidly and the Power of Destruction that had been stored within it was finally exposed to the outside.

All the Power of Destruction desired to burst outward but there was only so much space. The cracks enlarged thus and small fragments of the crimson staff burst in all directions.

A few minutes passed before Dilan began to move once again.

"It's about time…" He mumbled, turning the spear around in his hand before he used every bit of strength inside his body as he heard a crackling sound from the staff he was gripping tightly.

It was just a moment later that Dilan threw the spear high into the air, into the eternal darkness that ought to devour the sealed faux Divinity…

However, what happened was the actual opposite and exactly what Dilan had wanted to happen!

On that day, a mere mortal destroyed a sealed faux Divinity…and it was the same day that a mere mortal dared to do something even Gods didn't dare to do!

A mere mortal devoured a burning star…
