Chapter 693 Different
Chapter 693 Different
Dilan didn't spend too much time with the six Lesser Gods. He explained a few things, received their contacts and he left them behind afterward.
They were still baffled and had various questions but Dilan was not concerned about that. It was more important to beat up a few more Lesser Gods and show them the truth.
The Oracle and the Universe might dislike that he was willing to show others his memories because they were related to the City of Trials, the prophecy, and Hoert.
However, who said that Dilan had to care about their opinion and worries?
Showing his memories to others was the easiest way to show that the Universe had a hard time to face and that he actually needed the help of the Lesser Gods. Every single being with a certain combat prowess would be of help, whether it was to fight against Veilures below the rank equivalent to Gods, defend the Chaos Obelisks, or simply not obstruct Dilan and his people.
That was already more than enough for him. As for getting his hands on a bunch of allies, Dilan would rather wait with that. Allies were also potential dangers because they might betray him in the future. He wanted to get his hands on a bunch of allies while Old Jeff and the others would build the Chaos Obelisks.
According to Old Jeff, each Chaos Obelisk would usually require several years to be completed. However, with enough help, he would finish one in nine months.
This was a total of 45 months to construct five Chaos Obelisks once he had the necessary materials. It was possible for Dilan to fill one Chaos Orb and hand it over to Old Jeff so that he can start with the first Chaos Obelisk while he continued to farm Chaos to fill the remaining Chaos Orbs but that didn't decrease the time required by Old Jeff.
Dilan would have close to four years to reach the peak of the sixth Tier and gather allies from all over the Universe.
At the same time, the nuisances who were bound to search him would find ways to send as many powerful beings to Milarn as possible. Milarn would once again turn into a warzone but that was not something Dilan could change.
Instead of fighting against it, Dilan was ready to warn every living being on Milarn once the time was ripe. As for now, everyone on Camsun and a bunch of other races whom he met when traveling around Milarn had met his eye.
He wanted to expose the truth to them by overwhelming them with his strength, by sharing the same confusing news as before telling them about the memory shards.
Dilan wouldn't force anyone to do anything but he would make clear that it was not necessary for him to weaken them by making them watch memories before he could attack them when they were at their weakest.
The Flame of the Beginning was much stronger than ever before. Ordinary Lesser Gods were nothing in its eyes!
As for newly advanced True Gods such as Ariel Silvertale, Dilan was not sure if he could still defeat her without dying.
However, death was not something he was afraid of. He couldn't die even if he wanted to, either way.
If he were to fight Ariel Silvertale head-on with the intention to kill her, Dilan would win. That was something he was certain about.
But, of course, he didn't intend to kill Ariel Silvertale. He was not that insane to kill one of the people he held dearly.
Yes…over the course of time, Dilan had gotten accustomed to the Essence Angel Queen. She was doing her best for the sake of her race, and she worried a lot about him as well. It was obvious that he meant a lot to her even if Dilan was not sure why exactly.
For a while, Dilan had been pretty sure that Ariel Silvertale cared only about him because he was a Fate Changer, because he was in possession of a Divine Occupation and because he had knowledge about the Primordial Ascension. However, since they had reunited things had changed a lot.
He couldn't really explain it himself but Ariel Silvertale had become a very important person. The only thing Dilan was not yet sure about was how important the Essence Angel Queen was in his heart.
This was a question he couldn't really answer yet, which was quite weird in his opinion. She should be less important than the friend with whom he fought for the longest but that was not really the case.
Sometimes, Ariel Silvertale's actions baffled him because she was very straightforward. Her attitude toward him changed every now and then. However, one thing was sure; Ariel Silvertale treated him differently than others.
Even the strongest subordinates of the Essence Angel Queen weren't treated much differently than the rest of her race. Yet, Dilan, a stranger was more than enough to be treated completely differently by the most beautiful existence most people had ever encountered.
Her elegant and overbearing presence seemed to disperse whenever she was around Dilan or speaking with him. That was unacceptable in the eyes of many Essence Angels, but they couldn't really do anything about it.
However, what caused critical emotional damage to most Essence Angels was that it looked like Dilan's family and his closest friends were also treated a bit differently from everyone else.
Ariel Silvertale was friendlier to them and it looked like they didn't have difficulties making her stone-like poker face crumble.
It hurt the pride of the Essence Angels because they weren't able to do the same but it was not bad to see their Queen smile every now and then.
The only problem was her behavior around Dilan…it was simply too obvious…
But that was not even everything because it looked like Dilan was either trying not to notice anything, or he was just too dense.
Or…he didn't want to reject her brutally…
