Chapter 696 True Chaos Dragon
Chapter 696 True Chaos Dragon
The True Chaos Dragon was extremely fast. Its body was humongous, three times large than Rory in each size and its strength was manyfold higher than the Red Dragon as well.
If Dilan were to compare the True Chaos Dragon to an existence he had encountered in the past, it was probably the Demonifized Roc Soul Shard.
Zephyr, the Demonifized Roc, had given Dilan a thorough lesson in various regards. He did not only teach Dilan about the Zephyr Step movement technique but also a few lessons about monsters and mythical creatures that reached the strength of Gods.
Dilan had learned a lot from that, enough to go all out from the beginning.
He used his Green Magic, the item ability Gravity Domain, summoned a Superior Lightning Spirit with the Mantle of Elements, activated Walk of Thunder, and Second Acceleration before he made use of the Zephyr Step movement technique and the Sword Style of the Destruction Sword Immortal.
As if that was not enough, Dilan used his entire remaining mana to strengthen his Origin Ability, he activated the Special Trait Bearer of Pain to refill his mana with the conversion of Life force to mana, and he used both a tremendous amount of mana and Life force to create the strongest possible Destruction Immortality Aura.
With the True Undying Essence fully unleashed, Dilan could use more and more life force and mana to further strengthen the usage of all abilities and the potency of the Destruction Immortality Aura.
However, that was still not enough in Dilan's opinion. His body was already being destroyed over and over again by the unleashed powers which he couldn't handle but he accepted that regardless.
'Give your all, Flame of the Beginning!' Dilan shouted in his mind and a highly compressed layer of azure flames shrouded his entire body.
Dilan's physical strength was further augmented and so was the strength of Oricalm that had turned into a five-meter-long Claymore. Dilan was thinking about further enlarging the Claymore so that he could properly injure the True Chaos Dragon, but he changed his opinion the moment the Flames of the Beginning shrouded his body.
By discharging his entire power, he was bound to be able to harm the True Chaos Dragon.
He charged forward and turned into an azure flash that disappeared from the sight of the True Chaos Dragon as Dilan activated Instant Teleportation more than five times once after another.
His movements were rapid, but it was not possible to change one's running trajectory instantaneously while moving around. Of course, that only applied in certain situations and not if one had an Undying body that healed in an instant.
Dilan manifested wind platforms that allowed him to push his feet from the platforms and change his trajectory in an instant. His ankles and legs broke every now and then because he was too fast and the impact was too powerful but that was something he could endure easily.
He healed in an instant, moved around rapidly and he activated Instant Teleportation to add a maneuver that couldn't be predicted by the True Chaos Dragon.
In the end, only two seconds had passed after Dilan had activated all his means to enhance his body before he ended up at the right wing of the True Chaos Dragon.
He slashed down and cut off one of the True Chaos Dragon's wings…or so he tried.
The head of the True Chaos Dragon flicked around and a beam of gray Chaos shot toward him.
The True Chaos Dragon was not able to release dragon breath. Instead, it possessed the Power to accumulate and discharge Chaos through its entire body. However, the most efficient way was to release Chaos through its maw.
That was what the True Chaos Dragon did.
Dilan evaded the first Chaos beam by charging at the other wing. He attacked the other wing, just to sense something from behind him.
His enhanced senses were telling him that something approached him rapidly. It was the True Chaos Dragon's tail that crashed iron Dilan's back. He was smashed into the ground that gave in under the tremendous pressure his impact caused.
Most bones in Dilan's body broke at once. The True Chaos Dragon sensed that as well. It was confused for a moment because it expected Dilan to be a much stronger opponent.
However, it wouldn't have been the first time for the True Chaos Dragon to encounter an opponent, whose speed and attack power was several times higher than its health.
Some existences were simply too confident in their own capabilities and the fact that high speed and attack power were enough to defeat all kinds of opponents.
This tactic might work out against most opponents but the True Chaos Dragon was not an opponent one could underestimate.
As for the crippled human that was already on the verge of death, the True Chaos Dragon didn't think highly about it.
Except for the tremendous power and speed, it didn't seem to be anything special.
Thus, the True Chaos Dragon didn't think much about it as he unleashed a Chaos beam to eliminate the threat of the tiny human being.
The Chaos Beam was unleashed and the True Chaos Dragon could clearly sense that the human's body was being destroyed.
It was only a matter of time before the entire body would cease to exist, leaving nothing but an Essence crystal behind.
Dilan's body deteriorated faster than expected and the True Chaos Dragon dispersed the Chaos Beam after only ten seconds.
However, he didn't even find an Essence Crystal where Dilan had been killed.
"Hey, you fucking idiot!" A voice resounded from behind him and a tremendous power manyfold more intense than the power that had been unleashed by the tiny human just seconds earlier.
The True Chaos Dragon felt threatened and it moved its head rapidly, ready to release another Chaos beam in an instant.
"You should never underestimate humans…even less if you don't know their powers! Let your death be a lesson!!"
A moment later, a large head slit down the neck where it had once been attached to.
